DESIGN A DEVIL FRUIT

Time to introduce a second event to the crowd of Booze and Booty, instead of sending word of our existence out their on the internet we are going to step it up a notch and actually have something worth posting for. This event is made to make paramecia, zoan and logia fruit. However non-related to the canon, meaning some serious new fruit that haven't been introduced or listed as of yet. Meaning we'd like to see all those crazy ideas for Paramecia, interesting new species for Zoan, and of course a few elements not covered by logia quiet yet. The more unique, and amazing vibe the better chance it will be selected as the winner. We dont want a bunch of, super powerful fruits, we want something that we haven't seen before, with some abilities to boot.

You may create up to three fruit to enter into the contest, we want everyone to have a fair chance at their own idea on an ability. This is not three per account, but three overall. Multiple ideas may be seen, however the better explained and challenging fruit will be selected as the winner. So just because two people create one about candy, the one that turns opponents into Twizzlers might be more interesting then shooting gumballs.

Grand Prize The winner of the entire contest will have their fruit given too them as a reward, along with a sweet gift of berri and Notoriety.

Runners Up: The next three, to five depending on the event participants size will be awarded alot of berri for their ideas and some notoriety to help them learn skills when they get a devil fruit, your ideas will also be added to the Roster of the available devil fruit.

Random Participant: Of course, we will select one random user to be awarded their fruit. Just in case you dont walk out with Berri or Notoriety, you might just step out with a Devil Fruit for just entering an idea.

NAME: Fuuton Fuuton no mai
MEANING: Wind Wind... Whatever no mai means. Rawr!
TYPE: Logia Fruit, mang
DESCRIPTION The Fuuton Fuuton no mai allows the user to take control over wind currents around his being. To do this, there has to be at least a light wind, which can be created by the simple movement of the user. With the use of this fruit, the user can amplify the wind currents to their use, or calm them to allow easier sailing. This could, of course, be used to set temporary wind traps for people following the user at sea, or even alter the water currents through the wind. However, of course, it cannot allow things such as creating a vacuum of air outside the enemy to suffocate them. That would be just rude.


NAME: Ketsuki Ketsuki no mai
MEANING: Blood Blood no mai~
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION This fruit allows the user to store, and use the blood of enemies, or animals they've killed, or found dead as a tool in battle (And, the user, if desperate). All blood will be stored in a catalyst located on a place of the user's body, of the user's choosing. The user must pull the blood from that location, and if the catalyst is broken, the blood must all be recollected. This blood can be used, and hardened to be used as a sword, and other weapon of the user's choosing. The blood can also help with blood loss, or transfusions. Basically, the sky is the limit.


NAME: Shokubutsu Shokubutsu no mai
MEANING: Plant Plant Fruit
TYPE: Zoan
DESCRIPTION The fruit gives the user plant like characteristics, allowing them to root themselves into the ground, to gain control over nearby plant life. Along with this, the user can regrow limbs through photosynthesis, and, as long as sunlight is available, never run out of energy. The user stops needing food to live, and only needs water, and gains a flexible skeletal structure. On the downside, salt water becomes completely deadly in high doses, unless there is some measure that overrides this.

DESCRIPTION: This fruit allows the user to secrete types of oil from the users body and manipulate it at whim, this gives the user domain over oil in any form, whether liquid or gas.

DESCRIPTION: This first allows the user to produce directional arrows that are able to stick to anything, these directional arrows work as a force that tugs the user in it's aimed direction. The effects only applies to when the user passes over the arrow.

MEANING: Transfer Transfer Fruit

DESCRIPTION: This fruit allows the user to displace any damage taken and even emotions and feelings onto another object or person. However, this ability is limited as the user has to be able to follow the attacks so numerous attacks that the user can not differentiate will go through.

NAME: Byōga Byōga no Mi
MEANING: Draw Draw Fruit
TYPE: Logia
DESCRIPTION: This fruit allows the user to become Ink, able to move through bodies of water as said Ink. The user will solidify and begin to drown upon contact with sea water. What is most special about this fruit is that it allows the user to draw on anything (air, flat surfaces, rough surfaces, etc.). What they draw will come to life, such as if they drew an eagle it would come to life as a real eagle. Of course the drawing comes out only as good quality as the drawing.

NAME: Jikan Jikan no Mi
MEANING: Time Time Fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION: This fruit allows simple manipulation of time. It can speed up or slow down an object's speed or age. To speed up, slow down, or reverse age the user needs direct contact (not skin). The user can stop time for 5 seconds, needing a 20 second rest between each stop. Different time based attacks can be made but they must remain simple.

NAME: Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Fenrir.
MEANING: Dog Dog Fruit, Model: Fenrir.
TYPE: Zoan, Mythical Type.
DESCRIPTION: This fruit allows one to take the form of Fenrir, great demon dog and child of the ancient god of trickery Loki. When transformed, the user grows substantially, morphing into a massive black wolfhound covered in blazing hellfire. As the user's mastery over the fruit grows, so does the size of the wolfhound. Flames caused by the hellfire last for seven days and seven nights, burns from them taking at least that long to heal. Users, with training, may morph separate parts of their body to that of Fenrir, like hands, feet, legs, tails, and head. Those body-parts retain their hellfire cover. A large disadvantage of this fruit is susceptibility to any form of water, be it fresh or sea-water. For example, the water from a simple hose would severely damage the user if they are using the fruit at the moment. Devil fruits like the Hie Hie no Mi and Numa Numa no Mi mean almost certain death for users of this fruit.

The fruit itself looks like a massive dark gray watermelon. It was various black colored "blobs" almost spattered onto it with some kind of brush. The insides are very fleshy, and take a sanguine coloring throughout. The insides are absent of seeds. It tastes like ash with hints of blood/

NAME: Ishi Ishi no Mi.
MEANING: Stone Stone Fruit.
TYPE: Logia.
DESCRIPTION: Ishi Ishi no Mi allows one to take the form of rock, and change their bodies composition as such. If damaged, they may reconstruct things such as missing limbs using the surrounding rock. The user may launch rock from themselves and create a large rock armor using their own bodies. Projectiles from the fingers, hands, feet, and other body parts can be launched at high speeds towards an enemy. Users are known to create traps like pitfalls and caves with this fruit, making them not only nigh-indestructible, but also crafty. Users of this fruit are extremely susceptible to lightning, meaning Goro Goro no Mi and similar fruits are the bane of it's existence.

This fruits remarkably resembles an apple, albeit with a rather hard, nut like exterior skin colored a dark muddy brown. The insides bear pebble shaped rock hard seeds and are rather dry, like dirt or sand. It tastes kind of like granite or marble and is tough to get into.

NAME: Moku Moku no Mi.
MEANING: Wood Wood Fruit.
TYPE: Logia.
DESCRIPTION: With the Moku Moku no Mi, ones body can be composed of wood like one would find making up a tree or in a house. The user can transform their body into wood, allowing them to extend their limbs to attack, spread to take damage, or harden in a form of armor. However, fire and other hot things will annihilate the user of this fruit. Fresh water allows the user to grow larger or regain their health if powers are activated at time of contact. If you have this and see Mera Mera no Mi, Atsu Atsu, or Magu Magu no Mi around, get the hell out of Dodge. You will catch fire. You will become cinders. You will die.

MEANING: Draco Draco Fruit, Model: Dragon
TYPE: Zoan, Mythical Type
DESCRIPTION: Allows the user take the form of a dragon. Just like the Myth of the dragon, the user can breath fire, fly, have armor like skin, razor sharp claws and dragon like strength.

NAME: Kaisei Kaisei no mi
MEANING: Regeneration Regeneration Fruit
TYPE: Logia or Peramecia, not sure which.
DESCRIPTION: Allows the user to regenerate from losing limbs or head. Even if your burned to death. You would regenerate.

NAME: Saizu Saizu no mi
MEANING: Size Size Fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION: Allows the user change size in height. One can be a grow to the size of a giant or small as a speck of dust. Or can change the size of your body parts.

MEANING: Teleport Teleport Fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION: This allows the User to teleport from one spot to another. When teleporting the person doesn't simply disappear then reappear. The user vanishes block by block like a puzzle. The user can make dimensional portals in order to revert an enemy's attack back at them or to launch your own attacks at the enemy from any direction with out coming close to the enemy.

DESCRIPTION: This fruit allows any questions asked by the user to be forcibly answered by the target of choice.

NAME: Sonji Sonji no Mi
MEANING: Slip Slip fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION:
Sonji Sonji no mi enforces the eater with the ability to slip through anything with just a little space between, every nook and granny. slipping through a tiny crack, the user will even be able to deliver substantial damage to the object he/she's slipping through. The ability does not work on the atomic level, but any visible or vaguely visible hole will be accessible. However the user must remain constantly in motion when using the ability, if not, he will materialize and either be buried, or completely destroy the whole object from the inside, taking relative damage in the process.

At absolute master level the user will be able to slip into the mind of the foe, in there, movement is not needed, and he/she will not be able to explode the head of the enemy by materializing.

There is no way to know if a hole in the floor will lead to an exit, and if the user slips into a hole, meeting a blind end, decisions must be taken very quickly, and most likely it will be impossible to turn around, the user will materialize, and whatever happens, may happen.

The Sonji Sonji no mi has a shape much similar to a pomelo, the peel however, has a ominous purple color, with slithering lines creating a pattern of wavy, black, helix threads. It is odorless, but has a very distinct taste of fish food(The small colored flakes you drop in your fish tank), and it has an effect much like cinnamon when being eaten, completely dehydrating your mouth.

NAME: Hito Hito no mi: Nurarihyon
MEANING: Human fruit: Nurarihyon variant.
TYPE: Zoan
DESCRIPTION:
Japanese folklore tells of a human looking creature, with a gourd formed head, said to sneak into people's houses and drink their tea without being noticed as a intruder.

The eater of this fruit will become able to transform into Nurarihyon and trespass on any facility, anything, without being noticed even slightly. On top of that, the transformation will give the user the ability to be out of sight, not invisible, but simply not be noticed by the enemy for short periods of time, this is different to the trespassing ability, because in this case, he has been noticed.. The ability can be used up to the point of standing right beside a wanted poster with ones face on it, and yet not being recognized. It enables the user to run from any bill.

However the Nurarihyon is a very short creature, and thus the transformation will, unlike most other Zoan, decrease the eaters body size to a 4 foot 6'', his/her Power will decrease, while Haste increasing. Also, in the act of attacking, the user will become noticable, in order to stay un-noticed, calm movements must be used.

The Hito Hito no mi: Nurarihyon has the shape of a overgrown blueberry, the melon sized berry has a bright yellow color with black dots, aligned in a spiraling formation, giving it a strange aura. It tastes like vinegar boiled with ox bouillon, a disgusting taste.

NAME: Fuwa Fuwa no Mi
MEANING: Friction Friction fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION:
The Fuwa Fuwa no mi presents the user with the astounding ability to be able to manipulate friction, completely remove or enforce it on himself. He/she will also be capable of manipulating friction on anything he/she has touched within the last hour, however on foreign objects the effects of friction cannot be nullified, and it cannot be enhanced to the point of rendering the object motionless. But making the enemy scoot around the battlefield uncontrollably is very possible, not to mention fun.

It takes a short amount of time to change the friction, so if the user is hit with low friction, he/she will be bounced back like a beach ball, and even if the user manages to increase the friction again, the friction will cause him to suffer from minor to severe burns, all dependent on how much power he/she is thrust with.

The Fuwa Fuwa No mi takes on the form of a branch of grapes, they are all light gray with a black spiral on each of them, almost looking like an eyeball. Each grape tastes like salt water and seaweed, with a little aftertaste of over-boiled chicken.

NAME: Karada Karada no Mi
MEANING: Body Body Fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION: The user becomes a body body man/woman! By eating this fruit the user gains full control over EVERY part of their body. From stopping their heartbeat, to dislocating joins and preforming unnatural contortionism, to ignoring pain, stopping bloodflow, and at high mastery moving their own organs. For offensive potential the user can hit harder then their body should be able to handle, and can increase their muscle mass (this must remain in human capabilities). The defensive potentials are limitless. In the case that someone is touching seastone then they of course revert to a normal human, if this happens while say they are twisting their spine to turn their torso around well then they might just die.

NAME: Mushi Mushi no Mi Model: Hercules beetle
MEANING: Insect model: hercules Beetle
TYPE: Zoan
DESCRIPTION: The user gains the ability to partially or fully transform into a slightly larger than human sized hercules beetle. Pound for pound the hercules beetle is the strongest creature on the face of the earth able to lift 850 times its own body weight. This bodes along with a strong hard exoskeleton carapace an incredible strength for the user along with a gouging horn from the forehead, should they go hybrid.

NAME: Kane Kane no Mi
MEANING: Metal Metal Fruit
TYPE: Logia
DESCRIPTION: The user who consumes this fruit becomes sovereign over metal, able to bend twist and contort metal. From the iron in their body they can create massive structures of metal whether it be, spears, swords, guns, or even walls. The user can bend an opponent's weapon or even shatter it providing it doesn't have sea stone embedded in it, or it does not have haki covering it. As a deadly weapon the user can even grab an opponent and destroy whatever portion he grabbed by causing the iron in their body to expand and rapidly vibrate spelling gruesome injuries or death. The user of this fruit is susceptible to regular metallic properties. They are more conductive, they can melt under high heat, if they transfer from high heat to freezing cold they could shatter. And they quickly rust in fresh and seawater, even purified. Sabi Sabi no mi and jiji jiji no mi have a profound advantage against this fruit,

MEANING: Open Open Fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION: Meant to be taken in the English context, the Open fruit gives the user the ability to open any lock with a simple touch. Regardless of the position or difficulty, assuming the user can apply even the tip of their finger to a lock, it will open immediately. This fruit also causes all those within a five meter radius of the user to lost the ability to tell lies as they become "An Open Book" to the ability-user. This furit is hailed as "The Theives' best friend".

NAME: Fukuro Fukuro No Mi
MEANING: Bag Bag Fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION: An interesting fruit, the Fukuro Fruit transforms it's user's body into a pocket dimension. Assuming an object does not weigh more than the user of this fruit, they gain the ability to swallow, and store it within their gullet to no ill-effect. Regardless of edibility, the user is able to store materiel within their gullet and regurgitate it without the slightest bit of trouble. The user decides what they would like to digest and what they would not by simply commanding it of themselves. The only problem with this fruit is that retrieval of whatever they have swallowed feels identical to vomiting.

MEANING: Tech Tech no mi
TYPE: paramecia
DESCRIPTION: The consumer of this fruit, obtains the ability to manipulate technology (old or new) by touch completing tasks such as hacking cpu's or bringing it to 'life'. The user of this fruit can turn guns into moving droids, turn a television into a walking bomb, or combine and bring other objects to life. As with all devil fruits, normal drawbacks apply, however, the user is also easily overwhelmed with too many creations since they must control them individually—drawing away from one's concentration. Contact is only required upon the initial creation, can be controlled from a distance.

NAME: Tama Tama no Mi
MEANING: Sphere Sphere Fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION: The Sphere Sphere Fruit allows the user to create iridescent transparent spheres of various sizes. The walls of the spheres can range from a soap bubble to a powerful barrier depending on the users digression as well as provide a vessel for physical and non physical contents. Aside from the creation of the spheres the user is also able to manipulate the movement of the spheres by a mixture of will power and body movement. While the sphere's will remain in existence as long as the user so desires or until they are rendered incapacitated they can not be created a distance exceeding ten feet from the user.
--This fruit looks like a bunch of iridescent grapes covered in a pattern of circles that overlap each other. Tastes like broken glass.

NAME: Sozo Sozo no Mi; Model: Mongoose
MEANING: Rodent Rodent Fruit, Mongoose Model
TYPE: Zoan
DESCRIPTION: Sozo Sozo no Mi; Model: Mongoose is a Zoan type Devil Fruit that allows a person to transform into a mongoose-human hybrid and a full mongoose (About the size of a large dog). The fruit's major strength is that it gives its user more speed and agility in their hybrid form. Aided with sharpened teeth, claws and a thick protective fur coat the user's sense of smell and hearing are also enhanced. The final special trait the user gains from the use of the fruit is the immunity to all types of venom, transformed or otherwise.
--This fruit is shaped like a mangosteen and is dark brown in color with golden brown veins stretching across the surface. Tastes dirty.

NAME: Hira Hira no Mi
MEANING: Spirit Spirit Fruit
TYPE: Logia
DESCRIPTION: The Hira Hira no Mi allows the user to control, manipulate and transform into 'spirit' at will. While the user is able to control and manipulate their own spirit energy as well as spirit energy around them they are not able to control the spirit energy of any sentient being. The greatest strength the user of the Hira Hira no Mi possesses is the ability to manifest spiritual energy into physical form. When this occurs the spiritual energy will take on a visible spectrum as well and appear as an ethereal flame. The shape and physical characteristics of the spiritual energy are only limited by the imagination of the user.
--This fruit is light blue in color with a pale purple fade and is shaped like a pitaya. Tastes like something died.

NAME: Kabe Kabe no Mi
MEANING: Wall Wall Fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION:
The fruit gives the user the ability to erect walls on any solid inanimate surface. To erect a wall the user must touch the surface where they want it to be. The wall will be made of whatever substance they touched. For example, If they touch a cobblestone road the wall will be made of cobblestone or if they touch the snow it will be a wall of snow. The wall can only be as big as the area that consists of the substance. So, if they touch the top of a wooden crate the wall can only be as wide and as long as the face of the crate that is touched. The height of the wall is determined by the skill of the user.

NAME: Tenki Tenki no Mi
MEANING: Weather Weather Fruit
TYPE: Paramecia
DESCRIPTION:
This fruit gives the user control over the weather in the area that they can physically see. The user can essentially do whatever they want with the weather no matter the biome. If they want to make it snow in the desert they may, but the fruit does follow some sort of logic. If the user were to make it snow in the desert the storm would only be able to last about twenty minutes before turning to rain. The rule for non-native weather also applies to indoor spaces such as a building or cave. The user is able to create a snowstorm inside, but if they tried to make it hail inside a sauna they'll just end up with rain.

NAME: Ryuu Ryuu no Mi: Model Frost
MEANING: Dragon Dragon Fruit: Model Frost
TYPE: Zoan
DESCRIPTION:
This fruit gives the user the ability to transform into both a feral and hybrid form of a Frost dragon, in addition to their normal human form. The hybrid form doubles the size of the user and gives them a shape similar to that of an anthropomorphic dragon with icy blue scales. In this form the user gains a pair of small wings that can not be used for flight along with sharper finger and toe nails. Their nose and mouth also merge together to form a stout reptilian snout that contains teeth that have now transformed into razor sharp fangs. One notable feature that is absent from this transformation is a tail. In the feral form the user's size increases greatly. They become roughly as tall as an average one story building and as long as one and a half semi trucks. In this form they look exactly as the generic dragon would with a long neck and tail and bat like wings. Just as in the hybrid form the scales are an icy blue. Along the spine of the users back is blue fins that resemble icicles, though they look hard and sharp they are actually just like a fishes fins and do no real damage. Unlike the traditional four legged dragon the Frost dragons wings take the place of it's frontal legs. This forms greatest advantages are it's ability to fly and ability to breath out an icy breath made up of tiny ice shards that not only scratch the target, but makes them cold as well.

alright now, after reading through the fruits, and speaking with the staff we decided we'd give one away for each category, here are the winners.

Paramecia Class: Luca Perin with the Wall Wall Fruit, I think this was one of the more creative Devil Fruits on the paramecia scale, I really like the idea and the tier needs more defensive fruits, anyways we reward you with your fruit.

Zoan: Belle Wagner wins the Zoan tier fruit with her, Ceberus version of the Inu Inu. The thought of being able to turn into the legendary guardian of the gates of hell is simply thrilling and addicting, Belle is awarded her fruit, a very imaginative submission.

Logia: Finally we end with Niro with the Moku Moku fruit, the use of wood with the Logia is simple brilliance, we enjoyed the thought of people creating tree's and sprouting wood from the earth and thei bodies, another Yamato. Though you can either exchange your current devil fruit with this one or offer it to someone else, or let staff randomly hand it out ( we will award you with berri and noto.)

Others: We are adding alot of fruit that were submitted, afterall alot of them are excellent submissions. Most of them will be added to the database, like Alexanders Metal Logia, a smart idea.
