It's society pretty hard if you don't comply pretty easy if you don't complain
"Baterilla: A paradise on earth. enjoy your vacation on this tropical island, let the spa resorts relax your body, while the air relaxes your soul."The advertisements had it pretty right, everywhere joyful people were engaging in conversation, relaxing and having fun with their loved ones, or occasionally a complete stranger. As the flier promised, the sun was shining bright, bright enough to force people to use sunscreen. Yoshio didn't have to, his skin was practically UV-Immune it kept him with a balanced skin tone at all times. The air was fresh, opposed to the polluted air of so many other Islands. The water was clean, countless dots and lines of light were dancing across the water surface, giving the pool just a tad more life than human activity could ever. It was about lunchtime, Yoshio had just enjoyed a nice refreshing cup of Hot Chocolate accompanied by a few pieces of bread decorated with thinly sliced pastrami, it felt like home. Although for Yoshio everywhere is home, the Marine Vessels roaming the seas is where he lives. He'd vacated on Baterilla island for two days now, and yet no signs of Pirate activity had showed up. At first Yoshio felt mad, perhaps they had been fed false information, but as time passed, he converted to just enjoying his stay. Swimming in the chlorinated waters of the pool in the morning, going for a walk at lunchtime, getting massaged in the evening. It was relaxing, a new angle of life, away from all the killings and chaos done by the pirates. Here you could forget it all for a few hours a day, relax, and let time escape your mind. Not to mention the fine women, flaunting their slim bodies in their swimsuits. Yoshio found it hard to look away, more like he just didn't really want to. Being a Marine captain made it easy to engage in a conversation with the women, it made them.interested. And once Yoshio showed his scar they were sold, Last night he ended up in his room with a woman he had only met just a few hours prior. It was quite unforgettable, but in the morning he merely greeted her good morning, and watched as she left the room. Right now he was wasting time on the local basketball court, a bunch of young people, including himself, they were all about his age. He'd approached them with a intensely excited look on his face, one which could make babies cry, and so could they, that's at least what their faces said. But after scoring a few times no one complained. His athletic body made it possible for him to always be one step of the others - at least in speed - as the ball danced around the court, flying from one set of hands to another. Frankly, he isn't a very good basketball player, so the opposing team ended up winning by just an inch. Yoshio left them immediately after the game ended. He thought it would be a good time to look for a place to spend the evening, although it being hours ahead. Preferably a bar, he thought to himself, he was young, and work consumed his free time, so pubs and other drinking facilities were a fairly new concept to him. He walked across a Meadow, merely due to it being a rather beautiful sight. His body was exhilarated from the thought of spending two more days on this Island, a giant smile sparkled on his face. OOC: Sorry for the not to good post, I will need time to get back on the horse. [/blockquote]

[bg=D7CFCB]"The low sky grieves with a face that's about to cry Without ever doing so, it shaves off a moment"
The meadow, it was so peaceful. The entire island was pretty alluring, no wonder it was called a paradise. The rising thief had first visited the sparkling beaches, the crisp sparkling water reflected off of her eyes and skin. It was so calm, if not for all of the tourists. She didn't mind the company of others, but sometimes there was a limit to how many people she could stand. Especially, rich, buoyant, bastards who just wasted the day and their treasures away, not having a care in the world. She could get angry by just watching them. They were so rude and has such an attitude. She just wanted to punch them in the face, but a last..she calmed herself down some. She had come here to relax after all. No need to get angry.
After wandering around the island for some time, taking in all the sites and what the so called paradise had to offer to her. The emerging thief found a place suitable for just sitting, relaxing and enjoying the scenery and the cool, crisp, warm air. But first her stomach needed tending to, good thing she had walked by a place before her stomach had growled, speaking its protest at her for going so long without food. Checking her purse she deciding she had enough for a small, yet good meal. She would take this meal to the meadow. She ordered chicken and noodles to go, carrying the small package of food she walked to the meadow that when she had discovered it didn't have all that many people there. Moslty all the people and tourists were at the beach or the spas that lined the island.
Coming to the meadow she found a place near a tree, giving her enough shade but not so much that she couldn't enjoy the warmth the rays of light offered. Sitting she began to enjoy her newfound meal and the meadow as well. She hadn't been here long but her money was already wasting away. The price it came with to get here, then the food.. and to begin with she didn't have all that much money at all. She might just have to go with thievery to get by, no worries she was pretty confident in her abilities to steal. It was rare but she hadn't really stolen anything at all.
Raising her head, she stared at the blue, semi-cloudless sky. So peaceful here, yet so crowded at the same time. She would have to move on soon. For now though she would enjoy her mid-day lunch.

Some call it forgiveness and some call it the vengeance
Back where Yoshio was from, a flower was a rare sight, you were more likely to see a house completely ruined by pirates, than a flower. That was the reason a meadow like this soothed his soul so much, everywhere beautiful flowers were sprouting from the soil. He even made effort not to step on the prettiest flowers, mostly categorized by their bright blue color, blue went nicely with his skin. Here and there a tree rested, but they were all virtually gray next to the spectral colors of the meadow. Yoshio had one very important rule: Always live in the present. Love your surroundings if they are beautiful, despise your surroundings if they are hideous. Never focus on where you were a minute ago, or where you'll be in a minute. Yoshio's personality was build up around this rule, at one point he might seem like the happiest person, while the next minute he might show the most hateful attitude possible. One thing was sure, he turned the volume of his emotions up to the highest level. Right now he felt happy, and thus he painted a intensely wide smile on his face. He felt all jiggly from the vibes of this place, this island in general, it was the same as finding a old village, with a bunch of people living in harmony, completely oblivious to the violence of the outside world. A firm belief that peace was not a utopia, it was withing reach, arose in him. All needed is a firm iron fist, ready to pull out every crooked nail in the board known as the seven seas, but the last thoughts weren't present in the young Marines mind at the current moment. After walking approximately halfway through the meadow, about half an hour had been occupied, of course half of it was wasted with meaningless things such as making a crown out of flowers. And not like those feminine tiara flower-crowns, no. A real genuinely crown shaped crown of flowers, mainly consisting of blaue blume, blue flower, a symbol of romanticism. Of course he didn't think about that, and just wore it for the simple reason that it fits his look. He wore the crown with pride. After the long totally not frequently interrupted walk, he felt like he needed to sit down. Not far away a tree rose out of the ground, it had just the right characteristics for a place to rest, naturally Yoshio skipped over there, placing his back carefully against the tough bark. He closed his eyes for a few minutes, but his sleep was interrupted by the sound of someone munching. He gazed around, intrigued by the sound, but did not see anything in his field of view. He turned around, and what would you know, a petite girl was resting against the same tree as the young marine, eating her lunch. Without hesitation Yoshio picked up a flower, swept around the tree and reached out the flower to the young lady. He ended the gesture with a kitschy line about the flower not even deserved to be a gift for her. It wasn't like the usual Yoshio, but the vacation unleashed the flirty beast in him, as tasteless and horrible as it might seem. [/blockquote]

Sitting underneath the peaceful tree, the young girl ate her lunch alone, well it seemed that she had been alone when she had arrived here. As she ate, her eyes stared at the pale, bright sky. Almost as if she were lost in her own world, her eyes looking endlessly into the horizon. She as peaceful sitting by herself, she had become accustomed to it because of not being with in contact with anyone else. Sure, there were people around her but she rarely interacted with them, merely she watched them pass by, go about their daily lives. Endlessly, watching. Perhaps, waiting.
A single flower came into view, holding onto it was a hand that had extended the flower out to her. She paused, surprised by the sudden appearance of someone. As well as the beautiful flower, but her thoughts were opposite of what someone else would have thought when being given a flower.
"Killing of such beauty is unneeded, rather watch then take," or in this case, pick. Sure, she didn't mind the gesture; it was sort of cute and flattering but without water, soil and nutrients from the soil the flower would soon die. She chose to leave beauty as it is. Taking another bite of her noodles, she acted so casual. Once she was done mostly chewing, she looked over to whoever had decided on the gesture of giving her a flower. Her head tilted back to the side some.
"Wouldn't you agree?" she mused to him ever so casually. Like, she didn't really care. However, the young wanna-be thief would not forget her manners, "The gesture was nice," She hadn't been flirted on much, so she wasn't much accustomed to it. She had a few friends, but zero to none crushes. Nor did anyone really like her. Some even thought of her to be out of their league, she had been pretty notorious and well-above others because of her cool attitude around others.
Now looking at the man, her gaze didn't seem to stray from his face. It seemed almost as if she was looking into him. And almost as if to not make the situation seem awkward, with the silence and her looking she said, "Fine day, however," she gave a small, quick smile towards him. She didn't often smile, and this was more of a friendly, almost welcoming smile. As if asking him to stay, to watch the scenery and enjoy the day with her. However, it was very subtle; her motives. One such as herself, cautious and often found mysterious must always hide their motives and always surprise others with something you mightn't often do.
She went back to eating, taking a bite, almost as if none of this had ever happened.
But do you really know what true love is 麿 振幅変調 命運 褒め歌う

If life was a video game I wouldn't save the princess. Eternally Playing with my awesome powers, Time would be wasted.
The results of the flirt seemed like a letdown, maybe Yoshio was a little old fashioned, but normally a kind remark would be met with another kind remark, not a critique. Time seemed to slow down after that, and Yoshio found himself locked in the same position for a few seconds, when his muscles finally seemed to come back to action, he sat down casually, gazing at the girl, who was now casually eating her food, like nothing had occurred. Such actions usually upset Yoshio, but in this situation, with the lovely batterillean air, he seemed more intrigued, his hormones raged, as he felt challenged, challenged to at least make her a little interested in him. His mind worked on a jigsaw, first he had to analyze her sentence, then come up with a good comeback, but after a few seconds he gave up, and decided easily answering would seem more natural. The young beauty turned to him with a question, and he answered “ I believe creativity transforms pretty things, such as flowers, into true beauty. Picking a flower will lead it to its imminent demise, but it will present it with a purpose in life. It is like when we decide to ride a boat around the world, pirates might attack, sea kings may devastate the boat, but we take the chance, just to see where we get.” He put an end to his speech with a simply “ At least that is why I do it.” After so long a speech, he didn’t really need her to answer, in fact, he liked the turn it took after that more, and would appreciate it if they stayed at that topic. “The gesture was nice”, a sign that his kindness(Cough-flirting-cough) was appreciated. Normally Yoshio would be humble, not even thinking about if his gesture was nice or not, but when conversing with a girl, staying completely in character was a hard thing to accomplish. Nonetheless he would still answer with a nice humble sentence “ It really wasn’t that much, I just felt like it in the spur of the moment, seeing a pretty girl in a beautiful place as this and all.” The lady stared at him, and he stared back, already with a smile on his face, although it was not returned at first, the posture was carried out to a point where it almost became awkward, until she broke the ice with basic conversation skill. He silently nodded, not intending to answer, until a brilliant smile appeared on her lips, motivation arose in his body. “ It really is fine weather I hear it’s always like this on Baterilla.” The Marine leaned back against the tree, ran his fingers through the long harmonic green grass by his legs. The scenery was close to perfect. [/blockquote]

[bg=D7CFCB]"The low sky grieves with a face that's about to cry Without ever doing so, it shaves off a moment"
Even though she continued to eat, ever so casually as if the man wasn't there she still knew he was there. And perhaps he intended to stay awhile, she did not know. She was often bewildered by other people and their motives. However, the man came up with a sort of comeback to her first statement. She couldn't help but grin, " 'suppose it's based upon what one might think or believe," she added after she finished chewing.
She looked over at him again as he explained that the gesture had been a spur of the moment kind of thing. The girl didn't seem to react much to his comment about seeing such a beautiful girl such as herself. Normally others would have blushed, but there seemed to be nothing to no reaction from the woman sitting beneath the tree. She had never really heard it before, well not much. But she knew what sort of comment it was. Her sort of hard barrier reflected things like that, usually. She stared at her box of food for a moment, as if in thought. She didn't want to be rude and have this guy's efforts put down.
Her ruby red eyes looked back over at the man, "Never been here before, so I wouldn't really know," she stated to him. "And, as beautiful as it is..it's a bit of a turn off with all of the tourism I've seen so far," she added. She felt the need to invite him to lunch, but as she took a double take at her food there was hardly anything left to offer. Luna thought for a moment, "Know anywhere else like this here meadow that would be worth looking at? Something quiet and serene, however," she asked. The tourism and busyness wasn't her float of the boat.

I fell asleep beneath the flowers For a couple of hours On a beautiful day
Yoshio’s brain flipped through his memories of the past few days like an open book, of course with the alcohol, it seemed like an open book, where some of the pages were smeared with ink. Nevertheless, all of those pages contained the memories of Bars, women and his hotel Room. All of the memorable places were still intact in memory. There was one of the thousands of pools, but they all failed with the high concentration of tourists, the beach was a no-go as well. Some of the palms were nice to sit up on, but they could only carry the weight of a single person. This meadow was by far the most memorable, a virtually infinite quantity of flowers all the way to the horizon, the occasional peaceful tree. In fact, the more he thought about it, the weirder it seemed to be on Baterilla, when despising tourism. The only nice, tourist free location that came to mind, was a cliff not long from their current location:
It featured a beautiful view of the ocean, and the ocean waves crashing against the rocks below, no one was ever there, apparently pools and other luxury locations seemed to draw individuals more than this cliff. The only criteria it did not fit, was the silence. Every time a wave collided with the island, a roar was released, the ground would release a few seconds of relaxing vibration and then a barrage of foam and water drops would reach all the way to the cliff, giving a refreshing alternative to a morning swim. Yoshio felt a deep need to sit on said cliff, staring out at the horizon and the ocean as the sun began setting on the afternoon sky, the clouds peacefully drifting across the skies like a white ship of cotton, riding on the jet-streams in the troposphere.
“I know one, it’s a lovely cliff, nothing but the sound of nature, no tourism besides us, and the air could not be clearer than there…” He deliberately placed a pause there, as he sat there, looking out in the direction they’d walk. “It’s a perfect place to close off the day, would you like to go there?” The Marine captain stood up, serenely shuttering the flower bracelets, rings, crown, collar and belt he had made in the time they had been sitting by the tree. Yoshio enjoyed moving his fingers; he had even taught himself how to sow, only for that reason. [/blockquote]

[bg=D7CFCB]"she turns out the light anticipating night falling tenderly around her and watches the dusk the words won't come she carries the act so convincingly the fact is sometimes she believes it that she can be happy the way things are be happy with the things she's done"
Nathalia continued to sit underneath the tree, the man sitting besides her. She placed her box of food on the ground to her right then with her left hand cupped a flower that was growing besides where she sat. The wind blew past them, whispering through her hair. She looked down for a moment as if in thought, then relaxed her hands on her knees. She looked somber, content. Looking out at the horizon she waited for the man's reply. She wasn't sure if he would know of anywhere that was void of all the claimers, noisiness and crowdedness of the tourists who came here. Nathalia herself was perhaps a tourist, but she chose to see the things that were unseen by the enormous amounts of other people who just seemed to casually put them aside and forget about them. She saw the beauty in things that others didn't often see. She looked down at the palm of her hand, and as the man replied she looked over at him with her scarlet eyes.
"Sounds nice, I would like to go there," she said, and offered him a somber smile. She then looked out beyond the meadow and smiled some more, sweetly. Softly. She gave a small laugh, perhaps to herself. Then standing up she placed her hands behind her and turned towards the man. Bending down some she looked at him sweetly, almost like a child who was eager to go somewhere. "Let's go there!" she announced. Extending her hand towards him she offered him help up.
De Luna did not yet know this man, but she felt a sort of likeness towards him. She had sort of felt this feeling before but had never really acted upon it. She then took the flower from him and placed it in her hair. With her hand still in his after helping him up, she began to walk away from the tree that they had been sitting under. Dragging him somewhat. Her demeanor had changed a bit and even though she didn't really know this man she felt she wanted to enjoy the time with him. However, as she guided him along she still seemed a bit somber and retained some of the coolness to the point where her motives remained subtle and unknown. She often hid herself from others, but today she felt a bit carefree.
