Alright I keep hearing this whispered among people, and get message all the time about it. I'm capturing 'illusia' or we have 'capture' lougetown. Within all the blues of One Piece it was shown to be rather heavily marine fortified, the only locations being the grand-line and the new world that had some separation from the law. Either way are we going to have a territory system were people can fight and claim land for their crew, among other things, or have marines claim the land back for the people and the world government. Just throw your opinions at me about it, cause I have no clue what people mean when they start claiming shit, so speak up son's.

Obviously we of Eternus Dues support it, but not simply because we took over a town but because it actually happened in the One Piece series. Whiteheard had plenty of islands under his control and protection and once he died others came and challenged that rule, Brownbeard for example.
I say we allow it since it also fuels thinking and role play, with Eternus Dues in control of Loguetown we control the main port to the grand line and its resources, not only do we get an advantage but it creates relations with other people, pirate and marines alike. Some pirates may choose to negotiate with us upon entrance and usage of Logetown's resources, and of course Marines can try and get it back from us, pretty much it opens a lot of opportunities.
Also it should be made known if a crew or marine unit controls an area with their name bolded in the description.

Only crack I have is that ED should lighten up. It's the start of a site, and I have no hate on the players but you guys have had 2 decent sized topics and both so far filled with drama; it takes 2 tango. Maybe one side was wrong or the other, but keep it chill for the start here. Drama ruins sites; just ask shiro
As for territories I see no reason why not, as long as marines can come and contest it. Obviously taking Loguetown will be regarded with lots of challenge and I think NPC VA's and stuff can come in and try to take it full force. Taking a starting town hasn't even happened in OP. Keeping control of a town so unfortified won't happen so easily.

Don't see how we went overboard when the first event of the site was a fight, lmfao. Not to mention we never challenged anyone, they all came after us, besides we are simply fueling a plot. As you can see people are already taking note of whats happening and are trying to find ways to get involved or use it for their own purposes. Besides I saw none of the other crews really trying to do anything productive except Pandemonium.
We are simply providing a means of inspiration while having a bit of fun, no reason to take the shit so serious. Besides we have only done what we were allowed to do, nothing more. There was no real drama, just discrepancies, which isn't all bad since it helps to avoid major problems that could happen later on in the role play. [/blockquote]

There's stuff saying otherwise, but that's not what this topics about.
Anyways, on the note of territories also. How are Shichibukai, Yonkou, and CP9 type deal gonna factor into all this? Shichibukai would be a pretty predominant takeover force for any territory the marines want back.

Idea sounds awesome, however, you should truly think about making a ban on Pirates. There is a need for other positions and from what I have heard, there is a need in Marines and Bounty Hunters. Now, they say that bounty hunters don't work together, but I beg to differ since without the Marines they wont get any rewards. Unless they get the money from another source then that is something totally different.
But in my opinion. Make a ban first of pirates and have others join as bounty hunters and marines. once everything has evened out you should open up the pirate making and implement this idea. But before that working on it some more. So that way everyone can be in accordance to everything.
[/b] also, you need to think of laws once they take over. what people are allowed in and what will happen to those who aren't allowed. if that person isn't a civilian or royalty or anything, they will be safe IF they are from that town. or if a person just barges in, it immediately becomes and death-enabled thread. the same can go for those pirates that try to come and take that land or the same for the marines. you don't like bounty hunters. you can make it death-enabled. things like that should be placed into consideration.[/ul][/sup][/justify][/size][/font][/blockquote][/blockquote]

True there are a LOT of pirates now that outnumber the marines and BH easily haha. On the note of pirates though, maybe make it so if someone wants a pirate it's to fill a position on crews. Like I know ED I think is just about filled now right? Blaze needs 1 person or something I think; Renboku could use more people and I could use more. Anyways, yeah making it DE in a takeover thread I think is right; and if fellow pirates come in to challenge, its up to the winning side to decide the fate of the loser side. They can do what ED did and trade, and marines could be fair or can be sneaky in that topic and vice versa. Idk. Tossing ideas when I can.

Actually that is a good point. I see many going with Eternus Deus (sp?) and frankly that is quite unfair to the other crews. Some, I believe, don't have as many crew members as others. There should be some sort of restrictions to how many crew members they can have such as cabin boy/girl can got with two. doctors only need one. so on and so forth. that way it gives others a chance to have crew members and not lean just towards one crew or two.

01) Sei, no one did anything out of the ordinary, it's one piece, not Barney for christ-sake. Stop complaining about a crew, which basically did simple things that happen in OP, Whitebeard had a bunch of territory of his own. So where are we wrong? Actually people stated, that we make things more interesting... so yeah~ Keep my crew name out your mouth bro.
02) My pirates that you are claiming, I'm basically taking away from others, are friends I know from other sites (and msn). The only person that join my crew, and I didn't know is Nathan. It's up to crews to CATCH the interest of people, which has nothing to do with me. If you want people to join your crew, just ask them? Do something that makes your crew more different from others.
03) Seiyaru I just asked Shiro, and he told me to tell you to stop saying his name. OH and :l
04) Yeah make them DE, and maybe people can get awards for taking it over I assume? And banning people from being Pirates is going to cause less people to join, maybe ASK first, before you ban it. Cause new members might set their hearts out for being pirates, and to see it banned = them leaving

@ 01) It's fine to do at a later point, IN MY OPINION not early on. Again that's MY OPINION. The crew of ED is free to do what it wants, and I have no problem with that. Again I figured I should state it MY OPINION I am not speaking for anyone but myself and I am allowed to have an opinion.
@ 02) I never said it was bad you had crew mates. I said ED has a lot of pirates, and Blaze is filling up too. Stop trying to start shit mmk? =] Even Grimmly agrees, you have a lot of members. So back off the attitude. If you don't like someones opinion then ignore it, simple as that.
@ 03) Lulz Shiro can get a cock first. None of his sites have drama? Every site he's on he ends up getting someone to rage at him because he does something fucktarded, and that's not my observation that's proven fact across multiple sites including this one. He was here what? a total of like 10 hours before he was booted because he tried to start shit with puffles off the bat. I don't hate people or characters, I hate drama and he brings drama. Period.
@ 3.5) I don't speak for any staff members, Puffles, Zombie, Mouse, or anyone. I speak for myself and am allowed to have an opinion about someone I rather dislike for many reasons.
TL;DR get off my nuts for having an opinion and a voice.
On topic: I agree with what Grim says at the end there. If someone sees that they can't be a character they want they might leave. Not sure how to work around asking people what they want or what not. I would feel the same though if I join a OP site and can't be a pirate or marine or whatever I wanted to be. I have no ideas how to balance things though in that spectrum =c

Man you guys went off topic real fast, no more arguing, kthx, or else I might have to hand out some punishment. Not the bend over, hold your breath and lets experiment kind, the bad kind.
I typically dont ban a certain type, cause for that sole reason people tend to leave if they cant get what they want. However incentives play a large role in choosing too, since most people can roll with more then a single idea. Perhaps a raffle for all new enlisted marine for some berri, or maybe an ability or two as well. I think people would be much more positive joining the marines then if they got something for it. Regardless, here is what id like to ask about the territories, a.( liquid role planing removal. It would be a must so it prevent people from protecting multiple zones in numerous ocean blues. This way if two locations were to fall, they could only protect one without moving. That also bring up b.) traveling methods. Would people need to make [exit] threads to travel from one blue to another on their private boots, or if their with a crew do they all need to board their boat in the wood dock board and state where they are headed. c.) how to claim and capture, do members just create a [claim] thread or [capture] to retake it back and fight anyone in a DE environment. Id imagine the boards would be labeled with ownership with bold text, however getting is something else? perhaps a two day wait period in a thread without interruption, maybe even a crew limit since forces aren't equal in power and strength. Is this even a good idea? more opinions from moderators and admins. More or less got the voice of the BM's.

I agree with both A+B+C, COMPLETELY makes more sense, and stops cluster and shit; and makes it more interesting. Allow people to have 1 normal rp, 1 fighting thread. and a event counts up for both, so they can just be in an event for now.
and a traveling system is also good, and makes sense as well, but we also should have a looting system. i think, since when people come to capture and such, the will want to loot and get berri.
if you want any help with setting this up, i will be glad to

Sorry i've not taken notice of this thread damn you all move fast but okay okay, i'm here bitches, and with some OPINIONS to spew.
Honestly, I like liquid rp'ing, it keeps members coming and doesn't limit. I'd hate to see it go, horribly in fact. But all the same, managing territories would become difficult. How about we simply limit the rp'ing to the part of the blue or so on you are in? As in you can post anywhere within just that blue, this would link with the next part, that they can only be in one thread for protecting their territory at a time, and of course, they must be in that specific blue to do so. Making it so people cannot multi protect.
As for moving, well yes, they would need to do something about informing us of traveling. Why not have a special thread that people post in to tell us where they are moving to. Of course all threads in the previous area must be over, and then they simply post in that thread stating their next destination/region and how they got there.
Then for claiming or capturing, it would seem fine that way, simply posting a thread about with [CLAIMING] or something. But as well, we would need some sort of tracker/limiter. Like someone must join the thread and interfere within this set amount of time of the place is lost. For those who scare easy and just try to ignore threads.
Then our member issue, I don't really go all that for banning certain groups and such, but it is pretty needed for this system. And yes, like zombie said, we need the members to feel more inclined to join them. They already have some benefits, first, they get a free ship as they move through the ranks, as well, they have an unlimited access to seastone. I also say we should limit that unique fighting style sort of thing to marines alone to draw some in. As for the money, i'm not really a part of pretty much paying people to jump in. But why not an increased fruit finding chance? The marines works in numbers and are literally everywhere, one of the gifts that could be possible would be a fruit. If you advance enough, or are fortunate even.
But if we really get no change, a momentary ban might be in order. The best way to express this is a ban list, if we have one, and just simply state, pirates may be added to banned soon. Now people are getting the picture. Even more so for those who plan ahead.
As for crews, as i've been seeing, there is a limit. You can only have as many crew members as can fit your ship. I don't know if anyone has been enforcing this rule yet, but it is true, you cannot fit more than the ship can hold. As long as you pay for ships, as many people as you want can be a part of your crew. It's reality.
ADDED : Yes, a looting system would be nice and I hope will be in order soon. Considering how some things are set up, there need be such a system.

Liquid roleplay is fun and all, but it's also confusing. Like i said, it should be limit to maybe 1 casual rp, and when they are done with it, they can exit. A fighting thread, so it can still be in the timeline of everything, and an event thread, which counts as a casual and fighting thread. It allows people to focus, and not be all over the place with things. And we need a ship system + shop :/
And maybe people can create travel threads them self as zombie stated before, makes it more realistic, and such. they can state where they are going, and exit, when they reach the given place. i like that idea more, it's interesting and different. and we can just give them okay, and say yeah you're good, you are now in such and such.

Depends on the person, personally, i hate sites like that. Hate them to a fine point. I know a number more who dislike them as well. You pretty much can't rp if one person is busy, oh yay.
That idea is hardly different from mine. B[ Maybe slightly more annoying to keep track of if you need evidence...perhaps.
