Kuraikarite- A sword modeled after a katana with it's own type of flavor to it, it stands at about five feet, about 11 in. shorter than Alastor himself, meaning it's a rather tall weapon and often sheathed on his back if not carried. . The hilt is made of a leather material, giving Alastor a good grip with his gloves on, but the sword can slip out of very sweaty palms. A strange thing about the sword is that the edge is actually blunter than a normal sword, but this was done on purpose so Alastor could handicap his swordsmanship. Still, that doesn't mean Alastor can never cut with it. It just makes things harder. Otherwise, he'd have been killing people too easily. Also, it's safer around kids now!
