Many reasons came in to the reason why Zero usually drunk alcohol on a weekly basis. He was a pirate, and instead of acting like a wannabe, he had to play the part as well which included drinking large sums of alcohol. The small bird that sat on his shoulder, a baby crow that went everywhere with him witnessed his drinking habits.
There he sat in the center of the pub, what surrounded him were many man and a few woman who followed the men they assumed had some extra booze or money. Varying man, from bounty hunters to low ranked marines. No high bounty men such as Zero entered a pub like this, a hat concealed his eyes which made it even harder to identify him as 'Zero Stone'.
There sat a man who interested the Flawless Pirate Captain, he was no ordinary man but a Fishman. Another man sat on his other side with his white hair but young looks, with such an oblivious mind that Zero had, he was slightly confused. Bringing him to the conclusion that these man might be able to entertain him. Irritated by the drunkard marines that staggered within the pub, they disgusted him as they fell to the floor.
"Isn't this place boring, I was expecting some sort brawl, what else do people come to bars for?"

Merry walked into the bar with a kind of grim determination set into his very stride as much as in the squaring of his shoulders or the growl bubbling deep in his throat. Most people saw Merry and got out of the way, being close to seven and a half feet tall, sporting a row of sharp teeth, and rippling with muscles could have that effect. Merry's eyes scanned around the dim lightning of the pub as he stalked in, all four of them. His front eyes were sharp, his back eyes weren't much for detail but did wonders for tracking motion. Lot of motion in a bar, people having fun and drinking tended to move a lot. People didn't move when Merry entered the bar.
Stupid humans, a wave of fear beat off of almost everyone like a pulse of a heart. Just for a beat or two, before the breathing started again. Slowly motion returned and people dismissed Merry as an active threat, though maybe still a potential one.
Merry wore baggy dark pants held up tight with a belt and a tight white t-shirt stretched to its limit across his chest. A pair of flimsy sandals protected Merry's feet as he walked. A lot of fishmen wore sandals, made it easier to jump straight into water and swim if needed. Merry walked up and ordered a drink, something nice and strong. He didn't get any wise cracks or jokes. Just a glass with a light brown liquid slid down the counter to him.
As he found himself a nice little spot in the corner to enjoy his drink, noting a few stares of others as they took stock of him a pair of marines shambled into the pub. They were talking loudly about wanting a fight. Merry snorted and sipped at his drink. Disgusting little peons didn't look like they even knew how to fight. They were drunk, at least they certainly looked it. Merry didn't much favor the idea of getting a hangover from eating either of the inebriated marine.
All the same a low growl filled Merry's throat, he didn't like marines.

[We'll just continue with ourselves and skip the extra person until they decide to join in, it'll work better for us then]
Of course everyone had that drunken breath that disgusted almost anyone that was slightly groomed and actually decided to keep themselves clean. Zero himself ran a hair through his black hair, he was bored and needed some friends to accompany himself. The pub itself wasn't as clean as the Captain thought. Scanning the area out for anyone that stood out but the Fishman was the only person in the entire place that interested the oblivious captain, not caring for the other men that sat there with there unnecessary laughs.
Of course the fish ignored the speak of a fight but the self proclaimed Pirate King assumed they love to fight, any chance they had. The aggressive part of them was one of the reason he needed one on his crew, someone he could brawl with for fun. He needed to get him on his crew but there usually was a catch to such a fun thing. Maybe spur a brawl within the pub?
"So Fish, wanna fight? I want to fight you before I get drunk."

Merry finished his drink, and casually set the glass down, thumping his finger against his table. The sound was closer to someone rapping their knuckles on a door than a gentle tap to remind the bar keep to refill a drink. It didn't take long for his replacement to show. If nothing else, Merry's image managed to keep the attention of the bartender.
Merry didn't notice the stares of the young captain, he was getting a lot of stares and learned to ignore it.
"So Fish, wanna fight? I want to fight you before I get drunk." came some call from the bar. Everything went quiet.
Merry set his drink down, then looked up to see where the call came from. It wasn't hard to guess, half the looks were at Merry, the other were at whoever was trying to poke fun at him. Merry didn't really like humans that much. They were weak and all looked eerily similar to each other. It just didn't look right. The one calling him out now wasn't one of the marines as Merry had initially expected. It was one of the bar's patrons, unusually young as well.
Merry tilted his head, as if he was taking stock of the human. He wasn't, but such actions usually lessened the blow to the ego. "I don't like to play with my food." Merry said, his voice deep and rough like granite rubbing against each other to imitate speech. Merry was blowing this kid off, he didn't want to crush him and get kicked out of another town. That said... He tensed up his legs and body to ready himself for a fight, setting a hand under the table in case he needed to throw it at the human.

Now what irritated the boy that now decided to stand in an act of his manly essence, or so he thought. This fight was nothing more then a bout to test his already abnormal abilities. He hadn't took a sip of his favored drink, Strawberry Milk. Instead of drinking it, he was putting it on the line. If he were to lose here that would mean that he wouldn't have pride drinking his prized drink and instead give to this scary looking Shark. That was big in Zero's book, something large at stake.
This fish was denying a fight, and branding the notorious pirate as nothing more then 'prey' which was enough to provoke the pirate, yet he held his cool. Underestimating the Captain of Spiral Arrow was a big mistake for anyone. Assuming the Fish was a big shot was possible, but impossible for the oblivious fool such as Zero.
Instead he began to charge at the Fish the instant he completed his statement as a sudden rush would catch the Fishman off guard. With his already abnormal speed he was known for, the distance between them would close in an instant as he revealed a tonfa that was brought forth in attempt to bash it in to his gut. His already godly strength and speed as a combo would make the fish crumble in fear unless he was able to stop such an attack.
"How's that, Fish dude!"

Catherine was crewless now. Her captain had vanished leaving her nothing but all his equipment and the orders to sink the Opera. The eternal phantom had been disbanded. She was not sure what to do. The temptation was to form her own crew and she was sure she had the power and fame to get a group behind her. However, she wasn't sure if she'd make a good leader. She'd been a first mate, but not for long and most of the crew had gone so there had been no real cause to be a leader. Perhaps it was time to find another crew? Most crews would surely jump at the chance of having a super nova on their crew. Especially one with the power of the gura gura no mi.
She walked into the bar dressed in her usual attire. This consisted of thigh high leather boots attached by straps to her leather skirt, long leather gloves which were attached by straps to her leather armor. Over this she wore her grey hooded cloak that revealed only her sword hilt and her head, because she rarely used the hood. However, there was one altereation. She now wore a belt around her waist with the tools Calico had left for her strapped on them.
How's that fish dude Those were the words she heard as she stepped into the bar. She saw the attack and sighed. It was fast and had power, but it was too easy to dodge and counter. She would be interested to see how the fishman countered it. She sat down and ordered some sake watching the fight. Due to her reputation the man gave her a remarkable discount of 75%. She didn't ask for it. He just gave it.

Starring up at the bar sign at the entrance he wonders why he keeps ending up here. Coming here was seriously getting old as dried shit. He rubbed the back of his neck. Kicking up some dirt before he walks up the steps. Coming closer to the entrance of the bar. He lowers his head a couple of inches to not smack his head off the top of the door frame. He hated doors being to short for his height but it doesn't really matter. Thats his own problem. He looked around the bar for a moment. His eyes shot over to a fishman. Obviously he's the most interesting person to look at. Though he wouldn't stare for to long. He doesn't need to be rude to a stranger like that. He walked a few more steps in, near the bar. Then sitting down next to some guy with a baby crow. The little crow was cute to look at. Something so small and fluffy in a place like this.
Looking at the bar keep he taps the counter. Signaling the man to bring over a beer. They knew each other well so Dmitri didn't half to say his order. Drinking his beer he hears the lad next to him speak about starting a fight. Typical youth wanting to start something unnecessary. Turning his head toward the door he sees two marines enter. They too looked around before fully entering the bar. Of course they recognized Dmitri. Which made Dmitri look away with a frown. Words spilling out under his breath. "crap, how do these shit heads keep finding me?" The first marine places his hand on Dmitri's shoulder. Making a smirk like smile down at him. "Its been a while since I've seen you Dmitri." He turned to the other marine bumping the back of his hand on the mans shoulder. "This poor excuse of a man use to be ranked higher than the two of us and now he's at the bottom of the barrel. He's so pathetic am I right?" The bastard had the balls to say such insults. This guy, Dmitri knew all to well. He's always been an insensitive asshole.
And to day was the day, Dmitri could back at him for all the asshole comments that spouted out of this dick faced losers mouth. "Ha ha ha, your still a funny guy, Greg." Dmitri said with a chuckle as he stood up. Towering over the two by a couple inches. "How are you doing!?" He asked as he stretched his leg forward. Gripping his fists tight. Two quick flesh colored blurs ferociously shoot left and right knocked each man out. Before they could react in time to the surprise of Dmitri attacking them both. "I'd say your not doing well at all." Turning around he sees that the bar grew quiet. There were a couple of mean looks being burned into his face. It would seem Dmitri started what will be a bar fight.

Sliver was at the very top of a high rise buliding. With a villainous smirk across his face,he began to get a tingling sensation in his stomach as he glanced over the land looking for prey he could unleash his killing satisfaction on. He spotted just the right victums two moderate rank marines sitting down so drunk they couldnt tell the diffrence between left and right.
I started to prepare my trigger finger, I looked through my marvelous sniper rifle a.k.a The Marine Killer scope and attemped to let out one superb shot that would go straight through one of there big juicy heads of blood and hit a beer bottle behind them which would rickashayed and hit the other marine in the head. There heads would gushing out so much blood it would be unreal.

The next few moments were rather, well hectic to say the least. Merry hadn't really planned on fighting, or anyone being killed, or any kind of property destruction. He'd planned to sit there, have a drink or two and then leave. Was that too much to ask? Apparently. Well, at least Merry wasn't missing going anywhere, he certainly didn't have any place to return to apart from the ocean. The boy that was insulting him seemed very intent on picking a fight, enough so to throw the first punch. Merry had planned on throwing a table at him before any such assault could connect... but he simple hadn't had the time. The human was fast, faster than Merry had expected some human to be. The fishman had barely tensed up his arm and lifted up the end before a powerful blow dead center his chest drove him back. His chair was left on its side and his back pressed roughly against the wall behind him.
Merry got mad. It seemed near moments before, or perhaps at the same time some feel had gone and assaulted the two marines. Merry didn't care about them, Merry cared about the punk that thought he was tough enough to sucker punch Merry Lochs.
"GHHRAAAAAAAAAAA!" Merry got mad.
As his roar rang out, almost shaking out dust from the rafters, the sound of bullets were all but lost. Merry stepped forward and in one sure motion hurled the table he'd been at with a single hand. It was aimed roughly toward the human that attacked him, but that wasn't his real target so the table drifted a bit high and to the left. It whizzed through the air and smashed against the opposite wall, almost embedding itself there. It certainly left an impressive crack... that was what Merry was aiming for.
The scent of blood touched his nostrils, but he didn't look to see where it had come from. His sternum hurt, and it annoyed him. Eyes widening a bit, Merry grunted once and then hunkered down and charged forward in a rage. Tables were pushed aside, glasses were shattered, and people dived out of the way. Merry's target was Zero, he'd planned to catch him and tackle him into and through the wall. If he missed, it still opened up some room for them to play.
The wall certainly didn't object. It proved no obstacle for Merry as his hulking frame pushed through it, scattering bits of debris out along the street. The fresh air did wonders to clear Merry's senses. Blood had that kind of effect on him, he'd just been lucky he hadn't tasted any of it, else he might have tried to take a few bites from the other bar patrons. Standing, he tilted his head and popped his neck. Now, where did that human get to? Merry wondered, curious to see if the boy had survived the wall killing rush Merry had made. Merry used Man-Eater Rush

He didn't expect himself to take down the Fishman that easily, that would have bored the Fighting Captain. Sent over a table was enough to prove that maybe this man was weak or didn't catch the abnormal speeds that Zero was moving at. That was usual for him as he was nimble footed and agile since being trained by his grandmother.
Surely all the ones in here who had good eyes noticed that Zero pulled back with his attack at the last minute, just enough force to push him back but did even more then he thought. Not enough when he saw the bulky shark get up but this time wore an expression that slightly irrtated that pirate, anger. It was an emotion that had its ups and downs for anyone, sometimes even increasing peoples strength.
The fish charged, a sudden boost in speed was enough to catch Zero off guard and pick him up with the sudden charge with bulky figure colliding with Zero's upper body but he reacted enough to evade the bared teeth from scratching his pretty boy face but the sudden force against his body was painful as he groaned but a kept a smile on.
As Zero was brought along the trip as he crashed into a wall being dragged by Merry's hulking frame due to the tackle but he came to a halt, Zero stood up agitated by the pain that took a toll on his body but his body endured through it. Now he stood before the fishman as he survived the sudden rush in power but his shirt now ripped up across a bruised and battered figure as he coughed up some blood.
This was nothing compared to what he was used to endure as a child.
"Man, is that all you got Shark Man?"

Catherine looked at them both and shook her head. The man had held back and the shark had seemed pissed, but was that really the best they could do? She slowly rose to her feet and spoke calmly as she walked out through the gap. "You two are boring." was how she begun whilst cracking her knuckles. "This is power." With that she launched a powerful side kick in the direction of the wall on the opposite side of the street. The kick was launched with such speed and power it was a blur. However, that was not what was impressive. What was impressive was the blade of air that was generated. It tore through the wall like it was paper. Fortunately, no-one was behind it, but the wall behind it, as could be seen through the hole, was also torn through by the kick. This was followed up by a front kick which launched a crescent blade of air that also easily sliced through the wall and the wall behind it. That was her suni toubunten. The leg fork and knife.
Catherine was a supernova, she was the wielder of the gura gura no mi. However, she hadn't even used that to do that. Nor had she used her most powerful attacks that didn't require it. That was her second most powerful attack that didn't require any boosts. It was a fearsome technique with the fork kick being equal to a skillful grade weapon with piercing enhancement whilst the knife was equal to a skillful grade with sharpness enhancement. And that was only at a distance. At close range the piercing/cutting potential was equal to a great grade weapon. She was devastating with her power and speed.

Silver was astonished with the power the lady had. He itched for a chance to get noticed himself. Silver began to reload his sniper riffle with enough ammo to kill an army. One by one the their heads began to gush out large amounts of blood to he aimmed for everyone except the two men fighting and the lady that destoryed the bar and the marine and the guy he was about to fight. When he was through killing 14 inocent by standers and 5 low ranked marines Silver packed up his sniper and got on the elevator to leave the buliding.
As he was about to step out of the door there stood 8 low ranked marines and about 50 heading for the bar. Silver instantly brought out 2 pistols and killed all of them in a matter of seconds but after they died he decided to stop killing and get a chicken leg to eat because he was feeling a little low on food.

The drunken Marines were like zombies. They seemed to have had a bit of a party after a successful day. Which explains the way there acting, so stupid and staggering around like anyone else would in that situation. But when Dmitri knocked out the two Marines. Making two loud thud sounds as they fell to the ground. One of the drunken Marines turned towards the bar, closer to the door. The drunken Marine stared at Dmitri for a moment. And Dmitri stared right back at the drunk with a smirk on his face. The man slowly realizing what had happen. Taps the shoulder of the Marine next to him. Pointing at Dmitri's general direction. Speaking into the ear of the other Marine. Dmitri took one step forward swaying to his left a little. Like a curious predator focused on its prey. Keeping his arms and hands loose enough to whip toward one of his weapons. His legs ready to move quickly enough to dodge.
Quickly unsheathing his katana, Dmitri quickly moves towards the drunken Marine as said Marine finished talking to the other. Streaks of silver shawn in the light, shooting towards the two drunken Marines. The streaks of silver slashes threw both of them in such a fast way. It was like a tight wire whipping a person so hared after suddenly snapping, the person would be cut in half. Which the person that was cut wouldn't realize they were cut until a few seconds after. Though it only seemed that fast because some people aren't at a high enough level to see it. Hearing the sounds of a few other Marines coming up behind him he turns around. Ready to cut up a few more of them. But what he saw were Marines falling to the ground. Blood spewing from there heads. A sniper was lurking somewhere close but out of sight. This wasn't the first time he's seen this sort of thing. Dmitri just hopes the sniper isn't out to kill him. He hates snipers, though who doesn't. Those damn snipers and there long range attacks. Always showing off with those head shots.
"Good Lord." Dmitri spouted as the supernova just kicked a wall in with two different slashes coming from the attack. Was she even aiming for anyone in the bar. Well probably not since it would seem no one was hit. Or maybe the effects haven't yet harmed who ever was in that general direction. So far it would seem she was just showing off her power. Which Dmitri just raised a brow at her. "That was a bit much don't you think, Ma'am?" Though he was only being proper when he called her 'Ma'am.' He didn't take in account that she may find that to be a rude way to acknowledge her. Sometimes people react badly when he speaks the way he does.

OOC: Hey guys, I'm introducing a lot of marines in this post, not to kill but to force us to work together to escape. Speed up the forming a team notion and all that. Merry let his shoulder's droop and his back arch. The effect allowed him to scrape his knuckles across the dirt, and should he need to move would give him the chance to simple push himself away. It was almost more comfortable, according to his predator instincts. The human that had come along for his little ride seemed surprisingly well off for having been thrown clear through a wall. It was a good sign, Merry didn't like his prey to break too easy, unless he was hungry. Merry focused intently on the man, observing him with almost terrible seriousness.
"Man, is that all you got Shark Man?" Merry cocked his head at this, he wasn't sure if it was an insult or a compliment. The shark breed fishmen were often considered some of the most fearsome around the surface world. Merry decided it was a compliment... but that he should act offended anyway. Before he could really respond though, movement caught his attention to the side. A woman from the bar had stepped out and then said something. Merry didn't catch what it was but she'd followed it up by cracking the wall. Merry turned his head away without any comment or emotion. He didn't care about her or her little display. It was simply more background to him.
What he was focusing on was the man. The prey that struck its predator. Such a curious thing after all. "Not Shark man. "Man-Eater." Merry's deep voice grunted, correcting the young man. He rolled his shoulders and released a loud popping sound form his spine. Bullets started to fly and the scent of blood got stronger. Surprisingly this didn't seem to send Merry into his usual frenzy, his focus was winning out this time. Shouts came, Merry tuned them out along with everything else.
Probably not the best idea. These shouts came from what some might call a game changer. Marines. Apparently bar fights had been a problem recently... and apparently it was resolved by more than tripling the number of marines on site. One of them seemed up to date on the whose who of pirates and recognized the lot of them. A fine catch for any group of marines, not the least a base crammed pack full of them.
Someone opened fire and Merry felt a sharp pain, he glanced at his arm and noticed a hole, a small hole. Damn bullets. It was only seconds before they were all surrounded. Literally all of them, the entire block was sectioned off with almost shoulder to shoulder men. Too many to fight as far as Merry was concerned, unless they were at sea... which they weren't. Merry grunted, unhappily I might add, and turned away from his prey turned ally by chance.
Merry glanced around, and caught sight finally of someone near by on the roofs. Well, less saw than followed the scent of blood up to the man. Blood was a great marker to hunt by, so that was one. There was of course the woman cracking walls to get attention, she seemed strong. Merry wasn't sure how he knew this, but something about her presence radiated strength. Merry's predator nature told him she was NOT prey. Then there was one more man, who Merry now saw had also attracted the attention of the marines by beating a few of them down. He ran the numbers quickly.
five versus the entire island full of marines. He took a step toward the man that hit him, making sure his side was to him so it wouldn't be taken as a hostile action.... not that anything Merry did looked that friendly. "I'm Merry Lochs. Cover my back and I won't eat you." Merry said, which was as close as you could expect such a creature to get to full on hugging someone and calling them friends for life. Another marine started to aim and the rest to the que to prepare to fire. Merry tensed his arm, finding that the bullet hadn't stopped his full range of motion. Good.
Merry tensed up and gave a quick, but hopefully significant, glance to the others gathered around. Then he took a deep breath. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW" Merry roared, which was more or less his version of the one woman's wall cracking. He wanted the attention of all those marines... and he was fairly loud. He hoped the others understood that this was the best distraction they were going to get if they wanted to open a hole in the marine line. Merry was probably going to get shot for doing this. Merry hated getting shot.
As his roar died out and he hunched over awaiting the response sure to come, Merry mumbled in his gruff granite voice to Zero, "I don't suppose you have a ship?" meant more as a joke from Merry than a hope of escape.

The unplanned frenzy caused nothing more then a smile on Zero's face, this was the true meaning of being a pirate, it involved chaos at every turn. The sudden rush in adrenaline was enough for Zero to continue with this wrecking havoc until he decided it was alright for him to stop.
That changed when he noticed the noise of shattering glass as bullets came through and hit many drunkards, most were marines. The blue shadow afar was easily caught, blue was an odd hair color and rarely seen in the world. What gave him such a reason to kill all the drunkard bastards though? A loose cannon he seemed, someone he wanted on his crew.
But his attention shifted quickly to the next odd thing that happened which included a male brawling with multiple men, as well as the female that decided to prove her strength as she destroyed a portion of the bar. The bartender scurrying off behind a table to get himself cover, it made Zero wonder how the bartender felt about the pub in its current state.
Now if this was something that could be branded as minor in Zero's vocabulary, what was major? Maybe the whole islands marine force outside and beginning to shot as bullets flyed by Zero as he moved fluently, his already abnormal reaction time was aiding him in evading the spray of bullets.
Unluckily for his friend who had been hit continued, but it seemed in such a danger, he had to let the hostility between them go if he was going to leave the area alive. Back to back, as the Shark introduced himself to be no other then Merry Lochs.
"The name is Stone. Zero Stone, I'll be your accomplice today."
Releasing the deadly roar, once more within the area which always had an intimidating feeling behind it. Hoping it was enough to scare off the marines, he had no desire to fight more then he already had too. If this Shark was serious, and the other odd people inside the bar that held some sort of skill, it was enough for them to escape.
"Yeah, didn't you notice the largest ship in North Blue docked on this island, its mine!"
