Haruki snickered to himself before speaking. ”Well, I need something sharp to use the wind slash, and last time you took out my swords so I was unable to use it. The Devil fruit and my new weapons is the only things that have made me stronger…And killing two demons and the summoner in illusia. It was quite fun. The summoner guy sent two knightish demons on each of us. I used their swords as stepping stones. But other than that, not much really. Except learning about my opponents with this.” He said, holding his sunglasses up before putting them on a crate between them.

Catherine listened. So it was mostly a boost in strength and his devil fruit. Using the swords as stepping stones was quite skillful though. It was a shame he had not learnt anything else new. She was curious about these sunglasses though and picked them up, slipping them on her eyes activating them. To her surprise they began to show her all sorts of information on Haruki. It seemed they were some sort of database on people. It mentioned stuff about how he fought. It seemed it analysed combat style.
"A useful tool and one which will be useful when we hunt bounties." she said placing the sunglasses back on the crate inbetween them. She considered his skills. "In order for you to become stronger you must learn to channel that strength in new ways." She rose to her feet and drew Yubashiri. "This is yubashiri, a sword i gained for defeating a man known as the first demon of santoryu." She swung it about skillfully in a figure of eight, a movement Haruki should recognise as a demon had used it against him. "When I fought against you I used air blades with my hands. However, they caused a lot of strain to my hands and were quite risky so I began to learn the art of santoryu." She drew agony and swung both swords at once at a bag of hay using her Yakkodori technique. What would interest Haruki most was that the two air blades from the swords combined into one more powerful one. With that she sheathed her swords.
"My devil fruit too. I have found its true power lies not in vibrations, but in shattering the air to create shockwaves. It means every defense I have is also now an offense." she said calmly. It was true and it had been useful for her. Without it that wind slash of his would of taken her out, though if she hadn't of discovered this power she probably would have used her old technique, the shield quake. Though that would not have damaged him nearly as much. "So the techniques I used against you I can no longer use, but now I can use much more. That is what it means to grow strong. Seeing the weaknesses you possess and conquering them to find new strength"

Haruki nodded as she explained, and stared a second at the air blades combining. Well, that was quite smart. He then looked at her again as she spoke about weaknesses and strength. ”I got many weaknesses. Too many. But I have managed to figure out my devil fruit power. I can do this.” He said, holding his hand upwards. A large 5 meter circle appeared, letting in light. ”I can make things not attached to my body invisible.” He said, focusing back on her. The circle became roof again, and he smiled innocently, putting his sunglasses back on. Catherine would probably figure out that it meant that he could make clothing invisible. But he was not stupid enough to use it on her. He did after all not want to die.

"Controlling the ability to make objects invisible and visible." she mused. She had realised the implications of that, but she also saw the advantages. It was a very useful fruit even if its overall ability was limited to just invisibility. "If used correctly you could severely confuse an opponent and cause a lot of distractions allowing for a decent shot. Either that or you could sneak attack them" She was considering strategies to effectively combine their two powers. "Or, if you turned me invisible then whilst you distract them I could get into position to take them out." Yes, that would probably be the best. A lot of pirates and marines wouldn't want to face the disaster zone, but a relatively unknown hunter like Haruki? They'd leap at the chance. Then when they were distracted she'd take them out with her devil fruit and santoryu.
"Erallea you've been silent for a while. What are you thinking about?" she asked curiously. The spirit was a former hunter after all and perhaps had some experience that could be useful to bring into the conversation.

Haruki nodded slowly. ”I could. But right now I am not able to move the spot, so you would have to stay within five meters of the place I put it. Can be hard to keep track off.” He said, before blinking as she addressed Eralia. Ooooh damn, he knew what she was thinking about. The same thing she was always thinking about.
Eralia jumped a bit as Catherine’s voice dragged her out of thoughts. She looked at her, taking a few seconds to remember what she asked. She then took a deep breath as if to calm herself. ”I am thinking about the fact that I have not gotten laid in a extremely long time, and I can’t because I am a god damned spirit.” She said, kicking a crate so hard that a hole appeared in it.

Catherine considered this. That was a major flaw in her plans, but only for the moment. With a bit of work he could expand that area or move it and then it would be much more useful to her. Or should she say more useful to the both of them? She was mostly aiming to use Haruki for her own gains. SHe would gain infamy and wealth whilst making him stronger. He would be a useful ally and if necessary would serve as fodder for more difficult opponents whilst she got in a decent shot or escaped. She was not the type to run often, but in some cases you had no choice. She who fights and runs away lives to fight another day and all that.
The response from the spirit surprised her and she actually fell off the crate she was sitting on laughing her head off. It was not what she had expected at all and it was quite funny in a way. She looked up sheepishly expecting the spirit to be pissed at her laughing at her expense. "Sorry about that. Couldn't help myself." she said and then realised something. She had teamed up with a sexually deprived spirit and a perverted bounty hunter who could turn things invisible. This was going to be an....interesting team.
"Do you rely on any particular skill in combat? Your devil fruit, your wind slash etc?" she asked. That was the biggest weakness many people suffered from. They bet all their hopes on one or two techniques thinking they were unstoppable whereas in reality they would never work on everyone.

Haruki hmm’ed, thinking. Well, he did not exactly rely on anything…Or did he? He was not sure. ”Well, i mostly rely on my speed and anything I find. If I can use the opponent to my advantage, I will do that. If I can get in a decent shot, I will find a way to do that too. Being able to turn invisible is a good perk, but I can’t use it fully to my advantage yet. Mostly because I can’t see my gear when they are invisible yet.” He said, thinking a little.
Eralia pouted a bit as Catherine laughed, but then she laughed herself. ”I would like to see you try to fuck someone when you get so lost in delight that you forget to keep yourself tangible. Always so close. And always, every time I tried, I slip through them and end up on the ground.” She said, still laughing. Haruki shaked his head abit. What had he done to deserve such a teacher?

Catherine's mouth dropped open at the spirit's response. There wasn't much she could say to that. Though it had just given her an idea for a technique that would be useful as a distraction. Yes...a perfect distraction particularly against females. They would die in intense pleasure. "Maybe one die i'll try that Erallea." was her response after a brief pause as her mind was lost in the delight of her new technique idea.
"That is one flaw you have then Haruki. Relying on your speed is an issue. There are people I know who outclass you completely in that department and against some people, like myself, your speed is easy to stop or counter." she said her analysis of what he said complete. She was not the most intelligent person except when it came to how to fight. Fighting was something she specialized in. "If your speed is taken from you somehow like today then you are to be honest fucked. You need a decent backup."
"A good combination for you would be to use your blinders then turn invisible. They won't expect it and will simply think you've vanished." she said as an idea. It was not perfect, but it could work against some opponents. "They'll probably look for you, but providing they don't find you they will eventually let their guard down and you can strike."

Haruki nodded, stretching. He then got up, checking if he had recovered. Well look at that, he had recovered enough to move around! He looked around at all the boxes again. ”Hey, what is it in the crates in here?” He asked. He could see some boxes high up on platforms, and he was really curious.
Eralia yawned a bit, walked over to Haruki and plopped down where he had just been sitting. She might be a spirit, but she could still get tired.

Catherine considered this point. What exactly was in the crates in here? This warehouse was supposed to be abandoned or it looked like it. So why were there still so many crates? Would someone really take the contents and leave the crates or had they left in such a hurry that they left even their goods behind.
"Why not have a look. The exercise will do you good." Catherine remarked. She didn't meant that as in saying he was fat or anything. She meant that a little bit of exercise whilst he was recovering might strengthen him a bit. He'd be able to withstand pain more anyway.

Haruki shrugged, and pulled out his grappling hook, swinging it around before throwing it up at the crates. Tugging it a little, he felt resistance. He then pulled, and the crate closest to the edge of the platform fell off, falling down towards him. He stepped to the right, watching the crate. When it hit the ground, a lot of rusty blades and flintlock pistols came out of the shattered crate. ”Well, it seems like it’s mostly useless crap in here.” He said, rubbing the back of his head with the right arm. The grappling hook slowly retracted into the metal square on his hip.

"Well if its an abandoned warehouse its probable they are all junk mostly because any sane owner of a warehouse isn't going to abandon it and leave all the decent good behind." she said with a shrug. Well, that solved one mystery. Seemed whoever abandoned this place had only left junk behind. That made sense. "Plus it was probably abandoned years ago and none of the stuff's been looked after so its lost any quality it had."
Catherine rose to her feet and nodded to Haruki and Erallea. "I best be off before Captain Stone gets worried." she said with a shrug. "If you need me i'm generally not too hard to find or send a message to our ship. We mostly keep to north blue and its probably the biggest pirate ship you'll see. Except for Thriller bark." With that she began to walk away leaving the two, but not before saying one final message. "I expect you to be even stronger next time we meet Haruki. Good luck getting laid Erallea."

Haruki waved to her as she went off, and looked over at Eralia. She laughed a bit because of Catherine’s comment. ”Seems like we have gotten a dangerous ally.” She said, getting up. She then jumped up on Haruki’s back, sitting on the Harpoon gun. ”seems that way. Haruki said, turning invisible. He then set off, leaving the warehouse.
