Allies in a Struggle [Invite]

[Solomon Deacon]

Solomon stepped off the Immamou, the flag ship of the L.O.A., and in all honesty a rather normal looking ship at a glance. True the inside would raise a few eyebrows, but that didn't matter as long as the ship was never searched. Solomon's feet touched down on the deck of the sailing restaurant. It was a little disconcerting, as Solomon had subconsciously assumed that it would be like stepping on land. But this was no different than stepping from one part of the ship to another. It was an odd sensation being mistaken from a preconception he hadn't realized he'd made.

He glanced around, the front was deserted, but the inside seemed to be bustling. Solomon stepped up to the double doors and, with a dramatic push, forced them open. He seemed to draw a few stares. A man, in a long ragged trench coat and top hat, covered with various tools and knick-knacks of a trade seeped in mysticism and superstition, with a long coiled boa constrictor affectionately perched on his shoulders. Solomon's face was painted with a skull. He was dressed to draw stares.

It wasn't always safe for him to dress like this. But this was a special occasion, Solomon had a very important meeting this afternoon. Solomon had been sailing these waters for days awaiting this meeting, and his followers had finally spotted their contact approaching the Bartie. Solomon was dressed to make it abundantly clear who he was so there was no chance of mistaken identity. The LOA was known to be lead by a shadowy figure know as "Bokor." Solomon smirked, that name still amused him.

Solomon found a clean looking table and sat down as several patrons fled. He couldn't blame them but so no reason for it, this would be a civil meeting... even if Solomon had to blow the Bartie out of the water to ensure it. Not that he thought that such an extreme measure would be necessary. A man came up to Solomon, mumbling something off about not wanting trouble. Dynailie, Solomon's serpent, let out a hiss and made a dangerous swaying motion. Solomon placed his hand on the snake's head and it instantly calmed.

He explained that he was a customer and ordered some roast beef to prove it. He was a bit hungry so it did no harm. "I'm actually waiting for a friend, so if you could wait a little time before bringing out my order I would appreciate it." Solomon stared at the man until he walked away with a shiver. It seemed everyone content to flee from the entrance of the 'Bokor' had left. If they thought he was the most surprising man to arrive at the Bartie that day... wait till they saw who was arriving next.
