How trendy, open ceiling arena's in the frigid conditions of who knows where he was. Cause ya know, everyones just all about fighting with twenty pounds of layers covering them. That's what this arena was pretty much saying, you'd figure this arena was less than popular with it's poor location. But one glance at the people pooling through the entrance and that thought would never pass through your mind again. While signs clearly stated ones should move in single filed lines, it was apparent nobody cared for the recommendation. Though this did put a splinter in his plans, because the was no way in hell he was going to squeeze in with these imbeciles. It was tempting to off a few, that would probably create a clearing, but that came with it's own repercussions. No way in hell would they let him enter after that.
So now the question was, or since the start was, how was he going to make his way in? The numbers of people funneling about when battles weren't going on, made it unlikely he'd ever waltz through the front, and when a battle wasn't going on the arena was locked, who'd figure, maybe they didn't want anyone wimping out. He might as well just attempt scaling the wall, which was entirely too tall and also not worth the effort. Killing just one person...it was so darn tempting. And such a simple solution. But as this course of action would negate the reason for the murder, it couldn't be bothered.
He teetered around the arena for a good while thinking about what he was going to do, the fact he was missing out on good competitors every moment he stood outside, and also the fact he was progressively enjoying this endless walk. Regardless, wasn't he wasting far too much time in this shit of a region? Somehow merely being in the blues made him feel pitiful, and he was a supposed pirate, or at least he viewed himself that way. But first he needed a crew, and to get a good crew requires fame or skill, an arena seemed the most befitting place for such.
But as fate may have it, he was still lazing about outside the walls, not wanting to acquaint himself with others, such bullshittery this was. There should be a secluded participant only entrance, make sure nobody gets knifed on the way in. He'd like see some put that to reason one day. Until that day though, he was stuck with these giant doors. Gazing at the doors with some disdain, they were the fault in his plan. And then came a thought, nothing brilliant, not by far, it was quite silly really, but his mind was spent, and he was tired of lurking the arena listening to the roars of those inside. Drawing his scythe as he so boldly chopped a nicely size lump of wood from the door as it feel outwards with a thump. And who would have guessed, not a sole noticed. Well there was his entrance, and with a touch of vandalism, sweet.
As he weaseled into the large Colosseum the area about him erupted with sound, cheering fans watching the bloody brawl as it just started getting serious. Which meant he had time to register. Drawing towards the registration booth, there was fine line of people to wait for, but for a good reason or another the entry man insisted he went next. He probably though the crowd would like a good laugh, a child fighting lord knows what, not that he gave a toot what this man was scheming. He took his free spot and wandered to the waiting room, crossing his legs impatiently, from what he was instructed, once this battle was all good and done, they would announce the victory, whippidy-doo, and then call out him and his competitor.
It wasn't hard to tell when a victor was made, as the building was shattered by screams of excitement, followed by a peculiar silence. Waiting, focusing, and the came the clicks as the doors locking mechanism unlocked, and the door began to slide creak open, thank you for being making this place so overly complicated dear architects. The announcers voice resounded quite loudly as he made he semi speech before announcing just who would be fighting who. Even giving in-nacurate nicknames for him and his opponent before the honest intro. He didn't bother catching the mans words as he rather gaze at the other door, somewhere within the shadows of the opposing building hid his foe. And his name went by "NOW INTRODUCING, CALICO D. KIRIKAZOKU!!!!!"
