Rumble in the Jungle [O]

Javier faced death everyday; it was apart of his standard, cliche' life story. What he didn't face was the purity of true mother nature. Traversing throughout the thick forest with his newly gained katana at his waist, and his traditional blade upon his back, he carried the thick patch of meat wrapped tightly in slit paper.

Striding forth, he ventured through and through, moving about the brush and tree's carefully. He had been helplessly lost for the past couple of days, unaware of any other living human within the area. Actually, the thought had yet to cross his mind. Living from hollowed tree to tree, Javier was struggling to get out of this seemingly ever expanding labyrinth of a forest.

Unaware to him, he had been traveling in circles each day. his circles grew slightly larger, day by day, but circles nonetheless. As Night engulfed the sky, his desire to leave overcame him, and he moved on through the wood. Displeasing the male swordsman was relatively easy, and as he came further through the woods, he eventually came upon the small housing that a mysterious male had come to form.

"Hm....HELLO?" He prepared to draw his sword, in the case that this person was a foe of sorts.

Javier's eyes perked up at the noise of the man's voice. He smirked slightly at the appearance of another human being. Slightly tensing, to assure that his guard wasn't let down, he stepped forth and begin to make his way over to the man whom had been sleeping.

"Lost? Yeah, actually. I came out here to meditate, and ended up getting lost."

He squinted slightly, trying to see the man better under the moonlight. He was peculiar; never would Javier had suspected this one to become his crews shipwright. What was he doing out here, in the middle of these woods with a sustained housing complex. It was primitive in some aspects, but for a single entity? Very impressive.

Coming closer, he loosened his backpack off of his shoulder and threw it to the flooring. Relaxing his shoulders, he looked around and nodded at the man's creation. He was far more skilled than Javier was in the art of building things, that was for sure. In fact, Javier had never actually created anything in his life. He had only destroyed....well, he did roll his own cigarette once. That did count, right?

"Sorry to wake you, I've just been damn lost out here for a few days, ya know? Relief."

Javier was a nice guy, even if his passion was battle.

Javier stopped momentarily at the guys insult. What did he consider meditation? For Javier meditation was finding himself, who he was a swordsman and who he was as a person. Fasting for some time and experiencing nature was his meditation, for the art of the sword was an extension of the art of hand to hand, and using the body to fight was a natural experience.

To improve upon the natural consistencies of primitive warfare meant improving upon the advancement of his own swordsmanship. A difference in opinion, he figured. With not yet knowing the name of Seito, he was unable to identify him as the shipwright. Being superior did not mean demanding respect however; respect was earned, so hopefully this man's logic wasn't flawed too dramatically.

"Fool?"

As the man gave him directions, he tipped his head and peered around. He didn't want to go anywhere, but he was bursting with energy. The stream...he was feeling in need of some water.

"Well your a bitch."

Standing there, he almost wanted the man to rise and draw his blade. He had no reason to give an explanation of what meditation meant to him, but then again he wasn't in knowledge of the reason for being called a fool....so he had answered the only way he felt like answering.

As the thunder shook, Javier looked back to the way he had come. It was as if nature itself had been tracking him with its intention of murder. He could stay here, and face the man if it came to it, or leave and try to reach shelter before it was to late. Being unaware of this man to be a member of his crew, he dropped his backpack onto the ground and shifted his feet slightly, bending over and extracting a dried piece of meat he had yet to eat. He had looted it off...what was his name, Kid?

The "Kid" was a wuss, and was knocked out within moments of engagement. Javier had no doubt that this man here would be a more worthy opponent, but he was not out here to fight. Besides, if the man were a swordsman himself, he seemed to focused on power. It was a good thing, but Javier could take a beating and still dish out. He had good endurance.

"You gonna kick me out then? Why not split a meal, before I leave?"

If he was looking for a fight, Javier figured he'd get it soon enough.
