This is a formal invitation to the annual and most anticipated Beer Fest of Illusia. As pertaining to every previous year, the standard force of well armed and trained officers of the law will be present to grant the utmost protection to citizens, and off duty military associates. With a wonderful track record, you have the word of the military that this annual festival will be well guarded, free of trouble making pirates and rogues alike. We assure all that while it is an alcoholic festival by tradition and name, it will be a safe environment on the streets for children and women alike. All consumption of alcohol must pertain to the confounds of housing developments and standard bars. If caught consuming alcoholic beverages on the street, the convict will be escorted to the county jail and or home, given the circumstance. If one is to intoxicated to safely arrive home, an escort can be provided by military personal. Please have a fun, lasting time at the Annual Beer fest,

Annual Beer Fest Committee

Dear Pirates and Rogues Alike,

The beer fest is upon us. For too long we've not had a damn good time with free alcoholic beverages. This year, that will change, as we are sending out these letters to the more known crews about the sea's, and posting this around taverns across the sea's. We aren't asking for a raid, just a party crashing good time. The military is a thorn in the eyes of us pirates, so lets show them what we think of free beer. We like it, and we want it. Party On Rogues!

The streets were crowded ambiguously with men and women alike, dancing, singing, cheering, moving about in a most pleasant manner. At each corner stood military personal, and higher ranking military personal were spread throughout the groups, enjoying themselves quite well. The bars were filled with people from all over the town, military personal from across the seas, drinking to their hearts content on behalf of the Beer Fest Committee. The town businesses had been closed for the event, and all citizens had work off, aside from those at the bar, of course, who were receiving abundant tips from cheerful customers.

It was nearly 5:00 PM, and the sun was upon its downward journey, with night soon upon the town. The partying would only last all night, and with instrumental groups spread throughout the streets, certain alleys filled with gambling, squares with dancing and singing, some with duels, and others with more trivial games, there was not apart of the industrial town that could not suite any type of personality. The light that perched from the sides of buildings glimmered onto the side streets, and the committee was hard at work behind the scenes, preparing the fireworks display. Among the chaos and joy, there had yet to be anyone escorted home, and with the festival just picking up, the party was young and filled with energy.

Would the pirates answer the call to free beer? Joy? Happiness? Would the Military sustain the peace and carry the tradition of a well guarded festival? Or would the pirates simply blend in and enjoy themselves, coercing with the strictness of the law, if only for a night. With the night upon you, the party is young, and many choices have yet to be made. Will you enjoy really good damn beer or defend a tradition that's lasted for generations?

Hidden with the Committee in the town is a stash of Beer Kegs. All Military Personal are aware of the location, but other than that it is a complete secret.

REWARDS:
Citizens can join whichever side they wish. All Rewards will be gifted at the end of the event. Players can be individually rewarded as always, but if one faction accomplishes any of their goals they as a whole will receive a reward. Accomplishing all three will result in a larger reward.

Lin didn't handle crowds very well. He wasn't very fond of small buildings, either. Beer Fest, however, was the worst of both worlds. Of course, he tried to get into the spirit of the event. He knocked a few beers back, sang some drinking songs, participated in the typical manly boasting and ribbing contests that popped up from time to time. Still, as the day wore on, and those tiny pubs got fuller and fuller, the bounty hunter could feel the world closing in around him. He found it harder and harder to breathe, rooted in spot, it seemed, by the sheer wall of humanity that pressed against the bar. Finally, unable to deal with the crushing lack of space, he was forced to push his way out of the bar.

Clambering up the bar's awning, he made his way to the roof, a mug of beer in one hand as he climbed. There was a light sea breeze when he had reached the top, and with a deep inhalation he felt somewhat more like his old self. He took a sip, looking over the city as he let the wind nurse him back to his senses. Music wafted from nearly every street corner; from up here it sounded like nothing but discordant notes. People marched to and fro, some with arms around shoulders, singing some song with zero pitch and enough volume to wake the dead (assuming, of course, the dead could sleep at all with all the other racket going on.). There were jugglers and storytellers, and jugglers who told stories. Drinking, women... drinking women; this party had it all. It reminded Lin of the parties back home, only those took place in open areas, where people could actually breathe without getting an elbow in the throat.

With another deep sniff of the sea air to completely revive him, he pointed his mug eastward. "To my family back home. May the winds be favorable." He upended the mug, gulping far more heartily than was nessecary and nearly choking on beer for his trouble. He sighed and coughed as he gulped down the last drops and pointed his mug again in salute.
