Dark clouds fell from the sky like the looming red curtains at the end of a show. The audience begged for a an encore; they wanted to see the star of the performance, but alas, he had already left. Fleeting quickly from eyesight to his home on the hills, he was deaf to their cries and so a gloom befell the people. Rain engulfed the small town in a symphony of taps orchestrated by the tears of the sky, was it perhaps that the Gods cried for the dissipation of Eternus Deus? Regardless, apollo played his same tune—pressing forth into a new era.

The tavern was dimly lighten; bronze chandeliers hung from the decaying wooden ceiling as candle lights flickered from a draft coming in. The door swung open and the room grew silent, none recognized the reformed Eternus Deus pirate for he had changed behind comprehension. Taking a seat at the bar, the male would slump over the wooden counter top mumbling a few words to the bartender as he reached out. "A shot of tequila...sir," he mused softly.

Tilting the bottom of the glass up, he downed the beverage. Warm liquid burned his flesh as it passed down his gullet, blanketing his physique in a pseudo sense of comfort. The shot glass hit the wooden counter top as he stood up, exhaling loudly as he turned to face the rest of the tavern. Surprisingly, his crew mates had not yet arrived—surely they would liven up this joint. But for now the lonely marksman sat at the bar, digits brushing the handles of his dual magnums. Perhaps he would take introduce medusa to unlucky arrogance.
