- JAWS; Having Fishman blood in his family for generations, Bastian has found himself inherating some of their properties, such as a fish like apperance. As such his teeth are not only sharp and pointed, they are also more durable than normal teeth, and are ment for tearing through flesh with relative ease, though he has to work harder than most to tear his opponents to shreds with his teeth as his strength is not that of an average Fishman.
- LATERAL LINE; Similar to his passive JAWS skill, this skill also attributes itself to Fishmen, having a lateral line organ he is capable of sensing movement and vibrations if he is in water. Despite this he has at times shown the ability to use it out of water, though it is no where near as sensitive while on land.
- IT GROWS BACK; Having his blood tainted with Fishmen, Bastian houses within him properties of a piranha. As such he can heal minor wounds rather quickly to the point to where minor cuts and such heal once a new thread begins, and things such as a lost finger can reheal after three new topics.
- I SEE HOW YOU WORK, NOW IT'S MY TURN; Using his high level of intellect and speed Bastian can figure out his opponent's fighting style and a means to get through it's defences within four battle posts, though if in a dire situation and out numbered two to one his mind goes into live or die mode and he can figure out both their styles and a means to coutner them within two battle posts. As such this skill allows him to counter, and counter fast, very fast.
