✘ Eight Flowers Blooming: Utilizing either the Katana or Chokuto, Cross will suddenly attempt to slash at his enemy eight blurring times. Collectively, the slashes resemble a flower with eight petals.

✘ Mugen: If being badly beaten, and or is in need of a dire victory. Cross's hair turns a light shade of purple, and starts to stand up, while his sword starts to glow a different color and emanates large amounts of electricity. This form increases his speed and strength drastically. All emotions in his mind are sealed off, only leaving anger behind. Causing him to go into some type of 'rage' mode, if used more then once in the time period of two threads, Cross can be badly injured or even die.

Arthur ate a Paramecia type devil fruit, that gave him the ability to drastically change his body temperature and the temperature around him. This devil fruit increases Arthur's resiliency and physical prowess. He has the ability to either change his temperature to be as cold as ice, as hot as lava, or anywhere in between. He is immune to all heat based techniques, as well as weapons, and bullets; usually melting them before they make contact. Whilst Arthur heats up, his temperature increases so drastically, that it affects the environment around him. Which, can melt the ground beneath him and create lava which he can control. He is also able to create heat balls, the size of a basketball; when it connects, the heat causes severe searing pain, leaving burn marks and the likes.

Also, his temperature is so hot, that it can wake any sleeping volcanoes that are near him. To top it all off, in his heated up form; he has the ability to melt anything in his grasp. That's why, when combating in fist fights, he has the upper hand. Since, his punches do a lot more damage because of the severely burning the opponents receive from said punch. But, at this level Arthur can only severely burn people, instead of melting.
