FRIENDS; Okay, "friends" is a very loose term with Mort. It's better to simply say "People who happen to be affiliated with Mort and are viewed in a positive light". He doesn't make friends most of the time, just acquaintances. But hey, maybe there's a few out there capable of reaching out to him?
FOES; With the vast majority of foes, it's strictly business. He doesn't hold grudges, but all the same, anyone the World Government says is an enemy is his enemy. All Pirates are foes by default.
FAMILY; Mort's family isn't exactly in the dark about his line of duty - his father followed the same paths in life he once followed and is the main reason for how Mort has turned out in modern times.
