• Description: Salazar pours most of his focus towards a singular target in order to analyze it and find the weakest points in its structure by any means necessary. Once he has determined what it is, he strikes at it with the exact amount of power and speed needed to break it into pieces or even render it to dust in extreme cases. The most famous use of this technique was when he used it to render an entire mountain into dust (and sending him into a straight week of bed rest in the process due to overexertion), earning him the alias Onslaught.
  
  This is at its most effective with hard and rigid substances, like rock, metal, wood, and crystal. However, this technique does not work well –or at all- with flexible and/or squishy things like rubber or clay. It also does not work with liquids and gases for obvious reasons. As for beings composed of flesh and bone, the attack would usually give multiple fractures to bone at least and pulps it to dust at worst, while at best the flesh would receive some tearing and severe blunt force trauma.
  
  This technique is also hindered by the size of the opponent’s weakest point. That is because if it is too small to hit, it becomes nothing more than a normal strike. Another thing to note that it takes at least four posts after usage before Salazar is able to perform this technique again if he uses this to perform great feats of destruction like destroying a very big and reinforced structure in one strike. Extreme feats of destruction like destroying small mountains would render him completely exhausted and unable to move for the rest of the thread due to the energy and force needed to destroy the structure in one strike.

■ Kijin Gun-Dai Ran Bu (Group of Demon Gods Great Boisterous Dance)

• Description: By moving in various swift dance moves timed to a very specific beat in his head, Salazar strikes a specific point on a surface repeatedly with strong blows. Because of the timing of the hits, he creates an amplification of the waves he induces on the surface with each strike, which increases the vibrations he creates. This generates powerful tremors on the surface that only gets more powerful the longer he does the dance. If it escalates enough, it can turn into a minor earthquake. On man-made structures though, after a certain point the structure will fall apart.
  
  This technique is seen to be rather unpredictable… because let’s face it, no one expects a giant to dance, especially not gracefully and during a fight at that. It is important to note that this technique only works on solid and liquid surfaces... specifically ones that he can touch a part of. On any other surface, this technique is unusable. Obviously, this only works on non-living things that are big enough to maintain contact with a part of his body.

[/b][/url]- Salazar’s personal weapon is a Wazamono grade Ji with the durability and strength upgrade. This particular Ji has been crafted to ensure that it perfectly matched its user’s proportions, which means that this one is absolutely gargantuan compared to the normal-sized ones. The shaft is made from a particularly tough sort of ironwood, while the blade is made from very high quality carbon steel, which means that the blade is an unusually dark shade of gray. Other than those features, it’s really just like any other wazamono grade Ji with the durability and strength upgrade.

■ Bracers – Salazar always wears a pair of white leather bracers that are outlined in bright red. The leather for these bracers were made from a Sea King he had caught over fifty years ago, before he had even considered being a marine, and thus holds great sentimental value to him as a memento of his tumultuous past. These bracers are also fitted with steel plating underneath the leader, in order to aid him in deflecting attacks that might come his way.

■ Bandana – There is always a bandana on Salazar’s forehead at all times. These bandanas that he wears are actually made out of multiple layers of spider silk. Thus, these bandanas don’t only keep the hair out of his eyes, but they also protect his forehead, temples and part of the back of his head from most normal strikes.

■ Gloves – Along with the bracers, Salazar usually wears a pair of black leather gloves on his hands made from Sea King hide. These gloves have thick steel plates embedded in the cloth, which was put in there in order to increase the damage potential of his fists when he hits something. He tends to use them as back-up weapons when his trusty Ji fails him.

WEAPON DESCRIPTION: Babylon is a sword that has the structure and the proportions of an over-sized Großes Messer. This is particularly striking because the sword was forged with a giant in mind, so saying that means that this sword is enormous even for a giant. However, that isn’t the only unique feature of this sword- far from it actually. For starters, its base has a distinct and ornate design of red and gold that helps distinguish this sword from others.

One of the most notable features of this weapon is that its blade is made entirely out of pure seastone. This makes the blade tougher and sharper in comparison to similarly-constructed ones made from normal materials. Another notable feature of the weapon is the motorcycle-like gear shift at the base of the blade, near the handle, which is the only visible part of the most important mechanism of the blade.

Its most notable feature though, is not its seastone blade but a special mechanism that was built into it. This special mechanism is triggered by the motorcycle-like gear shift near the handle, which must be pulled. Once it is pulled, a very flammable propellant is sprayed onto the blade. It can then be ignited either by finding a good source of friction or fire, or by using the heat dial also installed in the blade. This can be done five times in a battle before his blade needs to be refuelled, which would intensify the fire and double the damage every time it is reapplied. The heat dial can be used by itself as well for a red-hot blade, making it even sharper.[/ul]

This one in particular allows the user to transform into a giant golden daibutsu, or in English a giant Buddha statue. This fruit, like all Zoan-type devil fruits, gives the user a hybrid and a full transformation. Interestingly, the user is always shrouded in a golden aura that emanates peace and harmony in both his hybrid and full transformations.

Users of this fruit are given an increase in strength and endurance by a minor to match his new size, with the most being strength and endurance. However, he loses speed and flexibility by a major as a consequence. Strangely, his arms are much larger and his legs relatively smaller proportion-wise in either form. Along with the size increase, the user and the items he is wearing also gain a golden hue akin to that of a golden statue. This effect does include weapons if they are in his hands. The user's body also turns into a mysterious golden metal that easily resists Standard grade weapons, though he stills remain fully mobile despite the fact that he really does like he’s been carved from gold.

For the first level of mastery, the user is only able to transform to use the hybrid and full transformations, and no partial ones. Only level one techs are allowed to be used at this level. Aside from that, his devil fruit has given him the ability to emanate golden shockwaves while in either of his devil fruit-based forms. There are no apparent weaknesses to this fruit aside from the standard devil fruit weaknesses.

Like with the first level, the user and the items on his person –including weapons- gain a golden hue as well as increase in size. At this point, the mysterious golden metal that makes up the user’s body has become much harder than steel, with him now impervious to Ryo Wazamono (Skillful Grade) weapons and those of lower grades as well. His arms also remain much larger and his legs relatively smaller proportion-wise in either form, but the difference in proportion between these sets of limbs are less drastic than before.

The most important difference between the first and second level of mastery is the ability of the eater to use partial transformations alongside the hybrid and full one, though it is much harder to form and control. Another important note to remember is that the golden shockwaves have increased in power and intensity, and that his golden aura has become easier to manipulate. There are no apparent weaknesses to this fruit aside from the standard devil fruit weaknesses. The usage of level two techniques are now allowed as well.

▌ NAME: Tendō [ II ] (Way of Heaven)

▌ DESCRIPTION: At the second level of control, Salazar is now able to produce a golden shockwave from any part of his body, not just his palms. This shockwave travels in the direction that his palm is facing for one mile before dissipating and is capable of destroying multiple buildings and heavily damaging the surroundings with a single burst. However at level two, he is able to unleash two shockwaves one after the other, which enables him to cause more destruction. The first shockwave would be at full power while the second one would be at half power.

One should remember that both shockwaves can only travel in one direction. After usage, it takes two posts before he can use it again with the same appendage at this level. This is the most basic shockwave attack of the fruit, and paves the way for more advanced variations.



▌ NAME: Hasshōdō: Hannya: Migigawa no Hyōji II (Eight Noble Paths: Wisdom: Karma)

▌ DESCRIPTION: This ability is based on the Moral Law of Karma. It is the basic principle of balance, that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The same principle applies to this ability. The user will surround themselves and their surroundings in a golden aura that lasts for 7 posts. At this level, his control and reach with his aura has improved to four miles. Anyone and anything is capable of entering the field of this aura. However, all of those who attack while in this aura will get 3/4 of the damage that their enemies receive except for the user himself. The damage will still be in the same area and will be the same type of wound, as only the power/severity of it will be reduced. However, they MUST be within the area of the aura. If the opponent, at a distance of five miles, throws a dagger at an individual within the area, they will receive no damage as the opponent himself/herself is not within the area. 3 post cool down.



▌ NAME: Tenchi [ I ] (Heaven and Earth)

▌ DESCRIPTION: Salazar produces a powerful golden shockwave by clapping his hands together. Unlike Tendō, this particular shockwaves travels in all directions in a perfect sphere. Because the shockwave pulses out from his hands as a sphere, the power used to generate the shockwave is used up faster. This means that it travels a shorter distance compared to Tendō - - ¼ of a mile.

This technique is just as powerful as Tendō is strength-wise. This shockwave also moves just as fast as Tendō does. In fact, it is just essentially an area-of-effect version of Tendō. This technique has a cool down of three posts before it can be used again.

▌ DESCRIPTION: Salazar expands his golden aura to encompass an area of two miles. Within the expanse of his golden aura, Salazar can sense any and all living creatures that are in it as long as some part of them is in motion of some kind. At his current level, he can only pinpoint a single individual within his aura or the general location of several individuals. He can hold this up for as long as he can, but once he retracts his aura in it takes five posts before he can do it again.

▌ DESCRIPTION: Also known as The Four Noble Truths, this attack is based on the Buddhist principle of Duke. It is the cessation of all suffering, worrying, or woe. It is a step closer towards Nirvana. With this ability, the user gains Endurance as a Minor as they are able to ignore pain, etc. However, with the cessation of all suffering comes wisdom. Besides simply gaining a Minor in Endurance, the golden aura that coats the user becomes extremely thick and bright, making it difficult for the opponent to even look at his opponent. This aura acts as a shield because of the blinding light and the ability to stop Standard Grade blades.

This also affects things such as frostbite, heat, etc. It does not make the user immune, simply resistant. Lasts for 5 posts. Cooldown of 3.
