If the marine vice-admiral had been more careful he would of noticed that the wall behind him had a few odd cracks that vaguely formed the shape of a human. Suddenly, with a loud cracking sound a fist shot out trying to grab the marine. The fist was quite large, about five times the size of a humans. With a low rumble the rest of the golem emerged from the wall. It was coloured grey like the interior walls of the lighthouse and its eyes appeared to be black gemstones. What was perhaps most peculiar about it was that it seemed to vaguely resemble jack in appearence. This was vague at best due to the grotesque distortion of it forming out of rock, but it was definitely there. Even some of the rock looked a lot like the clothes Jack was still wearing.
Bob watched closely. He was sitting atop the large crystal that was the light source for the lighthouse. Using the walls rather then the floor was a clever way of getting up quickly, but it had exhausted Jack. If he had gone slowly and carefully then he would of been able to avoid that exhaustion. This was no test of speed. That had already been done. ------------------------ As the giant arrived at the top and began looking for the dragon there was a loud roaring sound, but not from above or around him, but below. Somehow without realising it the giant had climbed onto the back of the massive reptile, that was even bigger then him. The dragon was coloured similar to the rocks of the mountain. The odd protrusions that surrounded the giant were actually large spines on the back of the dragon. In the moment of roaring the dragon had spread its wings and tried to take off, but the giant's weight was too great. For this reason it had begun to buck, trying to throw him off, which would be easy unless he grabbed hold of something.
The other Bob watched closely and carefully. It was certainly an interesting site that few would ever see. It was like a bucking bronco...except the bronco was a dragon and the rider was a giant. Very odd, but very entertaining. The dragon had made quite good progress up the mountain, suffering very little damage and merely being slightly exhausted from the climb. The Bakusai Tenketsu was particularly impressive.

If he had gone slowly, his attempt to move from wall to wall wouldn't have faired well and his body would have betrayed him. By moving as fast as he did, he was also able to save his body from realizing what he was doing.
Even so, he was not in the best of states but he was certainly far better off than he could have been. Dropping his guard had never been on his agenda so when he was attacked, he was ready. After all, he was definitely in the state to be suspecting a surprise attack. There had been no guarantee from the Test Makers that what they had said would be there would be there. Jack had no reason to trust them.
He ducked underneath the attack and elbowed behind him, using the strong point of the body and his Power to hopefully catch the creature offguard. Though, to be honest, he had no idea what he was aiming for. He had simply attacked as so on instinct.

“ Ruuuuuummmmbbbblllleeee….
What the hell? Salazar’s eyes suddenly widened as the ground beneath his feet began to move. In an effort to stabilize himself in lieu of the sudden earthquake, he held onto two of the stone spikes that were conveniently jutting out of the ground.
“ROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!” Hearing that roar come from directly below him, the giant marine could feel his stomach drop in horror as the realization of just what he was standing on hit him like a rampaging sea king.
Oh bloody hell! He would have been tempted to scream out, but he had too much dignity to look like a panicked newbie in front of the test moderator. Instead, he held on to the spikes for dear life as the dragon began to buck like an insane mustang on steroids.
It took a few seconds of the dragon’s wild thrashing before the giant finally gathered enough of his wits to think of the quest again and to stop sputtering random curses in his head. Once he finally did calm himself down, it didn’t take him long before he realized that this was a golden opportunity to achieve his goal. All he had to do was find a weakness in the connection of the scales, and he could easily dislodge them with a well-placed strike. Thank god he was well-versed in dragon and reptile anatomy due to his years of experience dealing with these sorts of beasts.
Because of his previous knowledge concerning dragons, he was quickly able to discern the exact angle and force needed to dislodge a good amount of the dragon’s scales. However, it was going to prove to be a challenge to be able to strike it while it was moving around like a crazed lunatic. As such, it took him a few more seconds than the usual to slowly release one of the spines from his grip and tightening the hold on the other spine. Once that was done, he struck out with his fist at the angle and power he had thought of, hoping that his estimates were correct.
Bakusai Tenketsu!

The golem was hit by the blow launched by the marine, but it didn't even seem to do more then scratch him. Power would do him no good here. With a downward slam of its right arm it tried to crush him. In that moment, someone who was watching carefully, would of noticed an area on the arm glow briefly. However, the arm swing was not its only movement. In case he dodged to the left it struck out with a powerful forward kick. Again, part of the limb that struck out glowed slightly. The movement the golem had made seemed truly strange. It should not of been possibly for it to strike downwards with a slam and kick. However, its limbs seemed to be acting almost independantly.
"Power won't help you unless you apply it properly." Bob said with a shake of his head. "Think before you act. Aim before you strike" That was all the advice he deemed fit to give and he fell into silence watching and waiting to see what the vice-admiral would do next. -------------------- The dragon had roared and tried to shake off the giant, but the giant seemed to have a firm grip of its spines. For that reason it spread large scarlet wings and took to the sky. However, it had only just got off the ground before it felt a huge pain tear through its back. The giant's attack had succesfully taken off some scales. However, the giant had not yet won. The shock of the pain had caused the dragon to crash through the side of a protrusion on the mountain, but soon it took flight with the dragon still on its back. It turned its long neck to look at the giant and launched a blast of fire aiming to scorch the marine.
"Ya got the scales, but can ya get off that thing alive?" shouted the other Bob who was using geppo to jump through the air next to the dragon. It seemed they could use techniques other then Soru. He didn't feel any advice was needed in this case.
