PERSONALITY
There is very little in existence that can serve to unnerve the young Shandian. He is very mentally sturdy, and is rarely seen panicking or rushing in dire situations. He has the patience of a turtle and the tolerance of an oak tree.
■ RESOURCEFUL
Be it in battle, or out of it, Clyde has displayed a knack for using anything and everything around him to its fullest potential. In battle, due to Clyde's natural ability to process information quickly, he is able to take in his surroundings and formulate plans and ideas on how to use them. A single branch could be as dangerous as a sword with this individual. Out of battle, Clyde can be considered quite a strategist, as he often tries to put his partners or subordinates in situations where they are most useful. He also knows where to look, and what to do with certain snippets of information.
■ LOYAL
When contracted upon a crew, or regarding an issue with someone he considers a friend, Clyde is as loyal as any man could be. He would fail not to come to the person's aid, and carries no hesitation in taking a bullet for said individual. He is a friend to have, though difficult to obtain. Of course, when it comes to his pirate crews, he's still a tad bit selective, but he does carry a sense of loyalty to them nonetheless.
■ WISE
Clyde actually has a rather mature perspective on life and many of the issues that revolves around it. More often than not, the advises that he has to offer, or discussions to throw up, are without fault and are welcomed by those who listen. He has been through quite a bit in his time, and his clear outlook in life allows him to obtain as many lessons from his life as he can, so as to better himself.
■ EASY-GOING
Clyde isn't one to ask for the grandiose of life. He prefers to keep things simple, and his only constant motivation in life is simply to keep on living the way he wants to live, by his own way. He values freedom above all else, of course, and as such, despises those that try to restrict him. He's not one to be hasty, and prefers to do things on his own time.
■ RESERVED
Clyde is quite a silent individual and prefers to keep to himself, than step out into the spotlight, if he could help it. Of course, when the times are dire, he will speak up, but otherwise, the Shandian will simply stand by the side and bear witness to the events. He also dislikes when questions about his pasts are brought up.
■ MISTRUSTING
Trust is one thing that Clyde does not give out so easily. Rarely does someone ever earn his trust upon the first meeting. Such respect from the man is hard-earned, more often than not, and Clyde is extremely wary about who he places his trust and life on. He loves his secrets, and he prefers for them to stay as secrets.
■ CLAUSTROPHOBIC
Clyde's phobia is rather specific. The only times that this fear acts in is in the situation where his movement is restricted and his freedom is clearly removed from his state. For example, when hand-cuffed, or tied up, or put in a cage. Clear cases where his freedom is taken from him. During these moments, Clyde will start to lose his sanity and act irrationally. At times, he starts lashing at everything until he is set free, after which he will slowly regain his composure, or he will simply break down on the spot, reduced to a helpless weakling with no sense of will.
■ BLUNT
Clyde is never one to hold back on the truth. If and when he voices his opinions, he keeps it brief and to the point. As a result, he often does not bother to try and sugarcoat his words. He believes that the best way to deliver a message is to do it honestly, instead of beating around the bush. Of course, this somewhat makes it all the harder for Clyde to create rapports, if he ever tries to, that is.
■ CONSERVATIVE
Despite the well-built body that Clyde carries, he is one conservative individual. He always dons himself up appropriately and is rarely seen showing more skin than his face and his arms. This also causes him to be rather awkward when faced with advancing women, for he has close to no experience in such situations. Yes, he is capable of maintaining his cool in the roughest and deadliest of situations, but when it comes to romance, Clyde is raw meat.[/ul]

ABILITIES
Hawk Fist involves putting an incredible amount of force behind a thrown punch, and using the sheer speed behind the movement, Clyde creates an outward force of pressure during the swing. As a result of such, Clyde is able to throw a punch out with the resultant force equivelant to that of a fired cannonball. This can, however, only be used when the Twin Talons are equipped. Otherwise, the force may result in damage to Clyde's hand. It is an instant technique, and after usage, a 2-post cool-down is required. Due to the stress that this places upon his arm, he can only use it 3 times per thread.
■ RESTIO ROSTRO
Twister Beak involves stressing his limbs up to allow the phenomenon of spinning upon a single spot, allowing Clyde to slice all around his position. This is done faster and easier when his legs have a leverage to work with, but in the air or water, this requires a tremendous amount of effort from his arms and thus stresses the muscle up to a risky point. Also, it will be slower. Clyde can only spin once at a time, and he can only spin upon a single point. He is unable to move his position during the spin. The spin has no nauseating effect on him, though. Clyde can only spin once in a single post, before requiring a 2-post cool-down. He can only use this 3 times per thread.[/ul]
MAJOR & MINOR
WEAPONS/ITEMS
The Twin Talons are a pair of bladed brass knuckles that Clyde carries around with him all the time. They are a foot long each, and are made of titanium steel, making them rather sturdy and sharp weapons. The shape of the brass knuckles allow Clyde to inflict gashes while punching, and his skill as a natural close-quarter-combat specialise makes him even more lethal. He keeps the Twin Talons within their separate sheathes, one strapped on each side of his waist.
■ TOBACCO PIPE
This is perhaps one of Clyde's most treasured possession. A tobacco pipe made of oak wood, with a bronze ring in the center. It is about 10 inches long, and he always keeps it within the inner left pocket of his overcoat. Of course, alongside the pipe, he carries along a small pouch of tobacco, and with it, a box of matchsticks.[/ul]
