At second stage of mastery of his devil fruit, Genbu no longer needs to remain still when using his techniques and abilities, able to move freely and use them as he desires. The time it takes for him to use his techniques have increased closer to reflex, having to focus momentarily. The yonkou can now envelop nearly half his body into pure darkness, being able avoid much more fluidly with his devil fruit. The duration and length of his devil fruit powers have increased with the increased mastery as well.

No longer does he have to think about it, his body will protect him from danger, while his techniques are now perform at their peak performance. His mastery of range, damage and output at their best. At this stage genbu can cloak himself entirely in darkness, to avoid techniques and empower his techniques. The pure darkness the true strength of the yonkou.

▌ DESCRIPTION: This technique lets the yonkou generate a large amount of darkness in the surrounding area, at the first stage this technique distance this expands is three meters. The direct area around him, or where he initiates the technique. The location quickly becomes absorbed into the pure darkness. Augmenting both his own, and his opponents sight, blinding the pair. The darkness is capable of being augmented by genbu in the use of other attacks and defensive techniques, using it as a source of energy. light sources within the field can be used to expose a small portion of sight.

II. At the second stage this technique range is increased, increasing the field of absolute darkness to a total of six meters. at this stage the darkness feels as if it weighing down the opponent trapped in the darkness. this darkness is much resistant to light within the field of darkness.

III. At the last stage of this technique, the range is increased to ten meters in distance that he may envelop in darkness, despite the surroundings and obstacles. while an opponent is in this they feel extremely fatigued by the sensation of the darkness bearing down on them, making them move much slower and making it harder to attack quickly and strong. the darkness at this stage is much more dense, and light does not pierce it effectively.

▌ DESCRIPTION: This technique is the basis of his darkness becoming a tangible element. With this technique Genbu is able to coax his weapon, or any part of himself with darkness, and cover his opponent with it, or any object he desires. Though he is capable of spreading the 'miasma' from around himself, however the speed in which the darkness spreads is a crawl, thus its typically physically applied. Determined by the speech of genbu, by saying ' x ' he can increase the mass of the darkness, increasing their gravity, or by stating ' x ' he decreases the mass, and make the target lighter and lower the gravity. At the first level this technique is only capable of increasing of several of removing and increasing several g of force. This technique can be removed by simply apply force and other efforts to remove it from the body, similar to a constricting animal. This technique can also be used on himself to make his body lighter to move quicker, as well as his weapons and strikes to make them weigh more and strike harder.

II. At the second stage this technique the spread of the darkness is increased slightly, becoming similar to a calm walking pace. The technique is capable of applying a constant force of 5 g's. Spreading across the user at a quicker rate, this technique's darkness is much harder to remove, as it seems to be attached to the target. Removing it requires focus and alot of effort to stop its virus like behaviors.

III. At the last stage of this technique, the speed of the 'miasma' like darkness is brought to a run, catching those who'd dare to run away from Genbu. The technique is able to apply 10 g's of force onto the opponent, and keep it sub-stained while the darkness crushes over them into nothing. The spread of the darkness over the body is alarming, and is nearly impossible to remove, as it almost seeps through the targets pours and surface. it can be removed with an equal leveled technique applied at the infected area.

▌ DESCRIPTION: This technique lets the yonkou use his own darkness as an extension on himself, passively generating darkness in his own shadow, from his body and clothing, an active source of darkness for his techniques. The male often creates a hooded cloak of darkness, his choice attire that conceals him from people, and protects him from attacks. This allows him to easily adjust his own gravity beneath the darkness, able to increase his own density with his swings, increasing their power, or decreasing the density to the point of levitation and increasing his speed. Able to augment the shape of the darkness, creating an extra arm to hold onto the opponent, or a weapon like a blade or bow to attack his opponent, as the darkness is now a physical energy. This offer himself protection from harmful attacks, as he can adjust the density of the darkness around him, making it heavy, weighing down on genbu however slowing down and stopping the weapon in the dense darkness. This acts as first means of defense against techniques and attack, as the darkness disperse upon being struck by devil fruit or haki techniques, meeting the attack with equal energy to cancel or counter the technique.

II. The second stage of this technique reduces the strain put on genbu when adjusting the density of darkness protecting him, allowing him to move easily with increased density when deflecting and taking direct techniques, the strength of the darkness is increased as well. The darkness also acts much more resistant to other attacks from other devil fruit users and haki based opponents, requiring a smaller portion of the darkness to disapate to block oncoming attacks.

III. The third stage of this technique makes the strain on genbu from adjusting the density nearly non-exsistant, being able to move freely despite its density. As well as being able to withstand oncoming attacks at a greater rate then before, consuming a small amount of darkness to block oncoming techniques and attacks. The offensive portion of the shroud is increased, as he needs minimal amounts of darkness to create an extra limb of darkness, or weapon.

▌ DESCRIPTION: This technique lets the yonkou use his darkness to spread famine. This technique imbues his darkness that devours the energy from an any matter opposing himself. The darkness does not discriminate against its target, simply decaying away any substance, turning non biological targets into dust, while living targets begin to loose stamina and energy, absorbing their energy and body. Now at the first stage of this technique the darkness moves incredibly slow, moving no faster then a crawl, and it takes time for the darkness to engulf the target and drain of it of its energy. This technique can be used to absorb oncoming attacks, physical or not and be absorbed into the darkness, before dispersing.

II. At the second stage, the darkness begins to act more rapid, the speed of the darkness increases to the speed of a typical haste minor. Spreading like an ominous disease across the surface, being able to dissolve inanimate objects with much more ease, such as weapons, buildings, or even the battleground. Being able to consume a human in a short duration. This technique can absorb a technique of equal rank, and a fair amount of lower tier techniques.

III. The final stage of this technique, the darkness acts like a monster from the opponents worst nightmare. The speed of the darkness is that of a haste major, under the control of genbu it seeps through non living object in seconds, dissolving it effortlessly like a vicious acid, with human's and other matter having a similar fate, being able to break them down quickly when consumed by his darkness. Able to absorb techniques of equal rank, and effectively absorb techniques of lower tiers.
