A small grin graced his lips as golden eyes read the elegant black and red script in front of the lounge. Even in front of the closed doors, Xerxes could still smell the distinct scent of several different types of tobacco and other herbs. Faint murmurs of patrons could be heard from the other side of the door, along with some sort of upbeat music that he’s never heard before.
That woman definitely has nice taste in lounges. Maybe I should give her a gift for showing me one I haven’t been to before in this part of the blues…. The white and red haired pirate captain mused as he looked at the sign. Too bad James didn’t want to come with. This seems like a really nice place to chill and relax in.
”Well, there’s no time like the present.” After a few more moments of deliberation, he shrugged his shoulders and opened the two doors with a flourish.
Golden orbs widened as his sandaled feet took their first steps on the carpeted floor. The entire place itself was actually rather small, with dim blue lighting made more mysterious by the ever-present haze of smoke. The area had a nice and elegant design about it with chairs and tables made out of some sort of dark wood, fitting in well with the relaxing vibe the place had. All around him, he could see various patrons chatting, eating, and generally having a good time while puffing on some sort of bizarre contraption. A soft jazz tune floated over the din of the customers, serving as great background music. From what he could ascertain, The Black Sabbath was truly a nice place to be.
Whoa! Xerxes was definitely not disappointed with the interior of the bar as he walked inside, looking around like a kid who was just shown to a new toy store. No wonder that classy lady recommended this place. It definitely looks like something the rich and powerful would hit up.
“Good afternoon, sir! Would you like a table?” The young pirate captain turned his attention towards the rather perky waiter that suddenly appeared beside him.
”Yeah, a table for me only would be great.”
The waiter grinned in response. “Follow me!” With that said, the waiter quickly turned away and led Xerxes towards an empty table with for two the same weird gadget that was on every table near the stage. Once they got there, Xerxes pulled out a chair for himself and sat down.
“Here’s a menu, sir!” The waiter handed a thick board to the pirate. “Just call one of the servers when you’re ready to order.” With that, the waiter bowed and turned to leave.
”Wait.” Xerxes called out.
The waiter turned back, a bit confused. He had just given the menu after all, and he didn’t look like a regular. “Do you need anything, sir?”
”Yes, actually.” Xerxes replied sheepishly as he pointed to the strange mechanical contraption on the table. ”Could you tell me what this is and how it works? It’s the first time I’ve seen anything like it.”
“Oh! A newbie!” The server laughed, making the pirate captain frown. Just what was so fully about his lack of knowledge? “Don’t worry; new customers don’t usually know how to use a Hookah. That’s what the thing on your table is.”
”I see.” Xerxes nodded, still frowning though not as darkly as before. ”So how does it work?” He added, raising an eyebrow.
“Oh, it’s easy! First, you fill this glass with cold water. Luckily for you, this one’s already filled.” He remarked as he pointed to the glass section of the contraption.
Then he gestured towards the top of the Hookah, where a bowl made of some sort of metal was. It was hard to tell what it was made of under the hazy blue lighting. “After that, you place the tobacco you want to smoke inside this bowl here. Since you’re new, the first few leaves will be for free! You’ll have to buy the next ones though.”
Upon that declaration, Xerxes’ frown turned upside-down. ”Thanks!” He always did like freebies.
“No problem. You seem like a cool guy.” The waiter chuckled as he put in some normal tobacco leaves onto the bowl. “Anyways, now you put a piece of coal onto the bowl as well. It’s to burn the tobacco.”
He then placed a lump of coal on top of the tobacco. “Then you light up the lump of coal to burn the leaves…” He muttered as he took out a lighter and set the coal on fire. “And voila! It’s ready to smoke. Easy as one plus one, if you ask me.”
“Oh, and before I forget….” He added as an afterthought. “You take in smoke using the hose, which cools it down and makes it easier to enjoy. Awesome, isn’t it?”
Xerxes blinked a couple of times, taking a few moments to process all of that information in. Suddenly, he was glad that he was such an intelligent being; otherwise he would have been lost in that rather enthusiastic explanation. Once he was sure that he fully processed the information, he slowly nodded. ”Yeah. Definitely interesting.”
“Then why don’t you give it a try?” He suggested. “You can take it on a test drive while you look at the menu and pick out what you want to eat.”
”Sure.” With that, the waiter bowed and left, this time without Xerxes stopping him.
”Now let’s see if you’re worth all of that hype that woman gave you earlier, Hookah….” The birkan muttered as he took the hose to his lips. With a slight grin, he took a slight lungful of the smoke. Once the smoke hit his lungs, his eyes widened in surprise at the strange yet pleasant sensation.
This is good! He thought as he puffed out the smoke in a ring shape, savouring the familiar zing of nicotine in his veins in the process. Delighted with the smoke the Hookah was creating, the birkan began a regular pattern of inhaling and exhaling on the hose, like he usually did with his pipe.
Now let’s see what’s on the menu…. Xerxes’ eyes focused on the menu in front of him, trying to find something he liked in it. Perhaps something beef for a change….

As the new man to the joint had arrived, the man on stage playing the guitar to the song Reincarnation had noticed him even through the dim lights and smoke. A very small grin crept up on the young mans face, his thoughts unknown at the time. The man who stepped in was not your average person in fact, and Morgan knew it. This put him in an exceptionally good mood. For when it came time for his solo's and parts within the song, he played them exceptionally well, with lots of heart and emotion. In fact, even if you weren't paying attention, his guitar playing would tug at even your heart strings, if only a little. Such was the skill of this musician.
On stage, the lights danced, the band played, the ling singer swayed back and fourth in a rather hipster like form fitting skirt. Just enough sway on the frills to tease the males in he audience. The drummer was a green spiky haired, tail lengthy male wearing a fish net shirt and black leather pants. There was someone on a keyboard, somewhat nerdy but cool in his own right. Also a few other instruments and their players sat in the background adding their notes to the rather good song. The song soon reached halfway point, the mans eyes never leaving the booth that the captain of the Horo's pirates had sat at. His black eyes, red pupils stuck out like a sore thumb. His clothing was of a red and black pin striped suit jacket and pants. His hair was also deep red.
This mans emotions poured out into the crowd closest to him. His body rocking out with the music. Everything about him cried determination heart and passion. Eventually the song would come to it's end. As it did, the man hopped down from stage, his guitar around his back and shoulders, the crowd clapping and cheering, slapping him on the back as he literally "slid" across the floor on his feet like he had skated. The women grabbed at him but were quickly to let him go. He was quite famous around this lounge.
If the Captain Xerxes, and new yonkou would have taken the time away from his hookah and menu, he would see the man jump up onto a ste of railing connected to a small set of stairs that led the way to the area the captain was at. That man would jump off at the top and land, sliding to a halt where he straightened up his clothing then pulled out a pack of smokes, which happened to now be empty...
The man looked down with a disapproving frown and sighed. He needed to get his friend to run into the back and grab his favorite kind of smokes for him again. That usually cost him a pretty penny.
"What a shame... Maybe he'll give me a discount this time."
Morgan stood there, quickly unable to keep a straight face, he busted out laughing pretty hard, but to himself.
"Yeah right... The greedy bastard is only concerned with money. Oh well, quality costs."
Morgan stopped talking to himself, his eyes catching site of the hookah the man he was seeking had been puffing on. A spot on the back for a second hose lay there, unused. It was the perfect way to get in and talk. Morgan would walk up cool headed like and bow his head with a rather interesting smile
"How are you enjoying the Black Sabbath lounge? I have yet to have seen you here, I take it you're new?"
The mans eyes locked on the pipe now
"Mind if I join you? If I'm with you, the lounge will treat you really good and give you a discount."
The MVP status was true, but the discount, well... Not even famous people got one here.

It is often said that destiny brings people together. Kabuto was a robot and so he didn't know whether this was true nor did he care. He was barely even capable of caring. His sole purposes were navigation and combat. It had been a while since the robot had navigated for a crew though. It was his sole purpose and yet he was not doing it. Why? Because he didn't have a crew anymore. Where his old crew was he had no idea and he was not inclined to look for them. He was a navigator not an investigator. Yet he did want to navigate so he had begun looking for a new crew to join.
Eventually he arrived at a place called the Black Sabbath. It was classy, but also a bit seedy. It seemed the sort of place high class pirates would hang around in. It was a hookah bar, a type of bar his former captain had often frequented, so perhaps he would find someone in here. He entered the bar slowly observing everything and everyone. His sensors detected two people who looked to be pirates of a sort. They definitely weren't marines. A closer examination of one caused the robot to be surprised. What was a yonkou doing here? And who was that with him? A crew member? Or just a guy looking for some attention from the yonkou? Perhaps he too wanted to join a crew and was speaking to the yonkou about it. It was possible.
"Would you like a table....sir?" said a waiter looking a bit confused. The cyborg stared at the man for a moment.
"One next to the man with red hair would be acceptable." he replied in his emotionless way. The waiter nodded and lead him over to a table before giving him a menu and giving the whole 'call one of the servers when you're ready bit'. The man left him with a confused look on his face. The robot could understand why. After all, he was a robot and a robot could not eat or drink or smoke. Well, he could drink in his own way, but not like a human or whatever. He looked over at the yonkou then decided to order a drink. "I'll have a large G&T" The waiter looked confused, but took the order and returned soon with the drink. After paying the man the robot lifited the drink to where his mouth would be if he was human and a small hole opened into which he drained the liquid. The chemicals in alcohol could fuel his body. It was strange, but true.

Mizuru decided to wear a black skirt that conformed to her form, along with a white blouse and a jacket-vest. She preffered her green sweater most of the time but she supposed that this outfit fit the kind of atmosphere this place had. The Black Sabbath. She normally didn't frequent these kind so of places, but she was sort of a classy type of woman, well maybe every once in awhile. Her dark locks of hair were secured into a messy bun with some shorter strands of hair framing her face. Chocolate orbs watched the band play on stage as her delicate fingers swirled the glass of wine in her hand. Her foot tapped lightly on the ground to the beat of the music.
Leaning back in the chair at a small two personed table, Mizu sat alone. Not but a few tables away the waiter that had previously sat her down, perhaps an hour ago, sat an unusual looking man. An interesting one at that. Though, there were a lot of unusual looking people in Loguetown. Mizu was perhaps one of the most normal ones; though if you got to know her she was one un-normal. She watched as the waiter explained to the man about the hookah machine besides the table. Mizu preferred not to smoke. Since, she understood medicine and administered it she preferred not to take any type of drug herself which was why the machine besides her was being neglected. She watched the man for awhile, even to the point that the guitarist that had just been playing had come over to him. The guitarists path had seemed to be directed at the man with the white hair to begin with.
Taking a sip out of her almost empty glass, her eyes wandered around the room. Just as she was looking around the waiter came over to her. "Miss, would you like a refill?" she smiled and shook her head. She had had a few drinks already and didn't want to be too intoxicated though she did love the taste of it.
"I think that man over there," she inclined her head towards the yonkou. "would enjoy some more leaves for his Hookah. Tell him its on me," she said smiling warmly towards the waiter as he nodded and then walked away towards the table the two men occupied.

That was what Xerxes should really be doing if he wanted to eat and drink anytime soon. Instead of doing that though, his attention was completely occupied by the hookah and the band performing on stage. To be fair, he had tried to focus on the menu at first but the music was far too good for him to ignore. In his book, great things had to be acknowledged with eye contact. And indeed, they were great.
However, there was one thing bothering him about the performance - - the disconcerting amount of focus that the lead guitarist was levelling on him. Why is that strange guitarist staring at me like that?
Xerxes was used to the stares given his bizarre appearance, even if he had taken to hiding his wings from the regular folk. However, those stares were usually curious, irritated, or weirded-out. This one was different. It was like he was trying to prove something to him… but that couldn’t be it. There wouldn’t be any point to that because as far as the general public knew, he was just a regular pirate. He was pretty sure that information about his title as the newest Yonkou hasn’t spread that far yet.
However, he wasn’t naïve enough to think that he and his first mate had done enough to hide that little tidbit of information. There might’ve been leaks. Maybe James had forgotten that it was supposed to be a secret for the moment. But whatever the case may be, he had nothing more than mere speculations until the guy made his move.
It took until the song was over and done with before the Yonkou let his gaze tear away from the curious musician. By that time, he had finally gotten used to the rather intriguing yet unnerving stare that the human was giving him. Surely now that the song was over the human would stop staring at him, leaving him free to finally scan through the menu and order what he wanted.
"How are you enjoying the Black Sabbath lounge? I have yet to have seen you here, I take it you're new?" Unfortunately, the young birkan didn’t account for the musician to actually approach him just when he was about to call the waiter.
Raising an eyebrow, the white and red haired birkan turned to look at the musician who had just finished performing. ”It’s great. Staff’s really welcoming and this hookah stuff is awesome.”
He then shrugged. ”It’s pretty obvious I’m new. It’s not like this place get guys in here with two hair colors and a Mohawk everyday, right?”
After answering, Xerxes watched the older-looking human as he asked permission to sit next to him and spouted excuses to justify himself. Hm… interesting.
”Though I doubt that you have the pull to get discounts in a fancy joint like this, go ahead and take a seat.” He chucked, smirking at the musician as he gestured at the seat in front of him. ”I don’t mind company. It’s more fun than being alone.”
When the man was finally seated, he took a long drag from the contraption in front of him and released it in a series of rings above them before asking a question. ”So what brings you here, guitarist?”
Just as he had finished that statement, a waiter suddenly appeared and placed a pot of fresh flavoured tobacco leaves on the table. With a grin and a wink, he gestured towards a woman with black hair and green eyes, who in turn was near a huge armoured figure with red eyes that looked like a stag beetle.
“Grape flavoured tobacco. Compliments of the beautiful lady over there, good sir.”
Surprised, the captain actually blinked and glanced at the woman for a couple of seconds before chuckling and placing some of the leaves onto the metal bowl. Upon taking another drag from the hose, he decided that he quite liked the grape flavoured smoke. He’d have to thank her later.
”This is wonderful.” He grinned at the green-eyed woman and gave her a thankful nod before turning towards the waiter. ”Anyways, are you taking orders right now, bud?”
“Yes sir. What would you like?”
”I’ll have the Lamb Kabob Carayee along with a White Russian.” He replied after taking another glance at the menu.
“A Lamb Kabob Carayee and a White Russian… alright.” The waiter nodded as he took out a notebook and jotted down the order. “And how about you Mr. Black? What will you be having for today?”

Morgan pulled the chair he was offered out and spun it around, sitting on it and leaning forward against the back of the chair with his arms resting on it. He pretty much made himself comfortable. On the hookah the waiter that took the mans order slid another hose in front of Morgan so he could attach to the same hookah. It was not an uncommon thing for them to have 3-4 hoses coming off just one. He took a long drag then winked. His eyes moving around to scan the area. He noticed the cyborg like being. He had seen a few in his life, though not exactly like that one. The being had taken a table not farm from theirs. He would have to go say hello sometime.
On top of that, it seemed his new friend was popular with the ladies. A very pretty young lady had supplied the man with fresh tobacco, a rather expensive thing. His eyes turned to check out the form of the said woman, then back to the man in front of him. It seemed he graciously accepted. That was good. Nothing came from denying free stuff. Not to Morgan anyway. Morgan winked to the waiter as he took the mans order. It was a signal to take good care of the man. After that, he simply ordered himself a tropical fruit drink with lots of fruit and berries, with a few shots of this and that, mainly strong stuff.
"You could just say I am... Curious? Like you said, it's not often we get a white and red haired, mohawked man around here. Especially one that's..."
Morgan dropped his voice in a whisper, his face showing the excitement. What he was about to say was leaked through a secret pirate line that learned info rather quickly. Something he was always glad to be in, cause at moments like these, it paid off.
"A yonkou... That's a very rare occurrence for this place"
Morgan said it in a way no one but them could hear it, and anyone listening would be left in pure suspense.
"Anyway, let me introduce myself. The name's Morgan. I'm a regular player here, and a frequent customer. If there is anything I can help you with, feel free to ask."

It seemed the man with the mohawk was of interest to not only Kabuto, but to the musician and a woman as well. How interesting. It seemed that his information about a new yonkou were correct or at least, the man was a famous pirate. He was certain of that. Kabuto decided that it was time to introduce himself. Whilst he did not understand humans very well he knew enough that if he kept staring at the man then he would get suspicious. He was about to rise to his feet and walk over when he had an idea. With a moment of focus he created a ball of cold air and with a sweep of his arm an illusionary copy of himself appeared next to the yonkou. He could throw his voice slightly and so he did so at this point to make it appear like the illusion was talking.
"My apologies for the interruption." he said in his usual tone, one of almost total emotionlessness. It was perhaps more emotionless because he was throwing his voice slightly. "But I felt the...urge...to introduce myself. My name is the Kuwagata Android Battle Unit Transport Oboegaki, or KABUTO for short. If you have any need of a navigator feel free to ask." With that he bowed and turned away fading into mist. The illusion had done its task. It had showed off a small fraction of his skill and of course his intentions were now known.
He wondered if the musician was too looking for a crew too and whether the woman was just attracted to Xerxes or whether she too was looking for a crew. He did not care, but humans fascinated him in a way. Whilst he was a Kuwagata model robot he was not just a robot. He was a cyborg, but not a human cyborg. The brain in his body was strangely that of a wolf that had been enhanced through science to make the perfect navigation tool. It would be interesting to see the yonkou's response to everything that was happening.

Mizu's eyes held onto the odd-colored haired guy who was a few tables away, watching a bit as the waiter made his way over and set a pot of leaves on the table for him. Her attention wasn't held long onto the man and the guitarist who had decided to join him. Green orbs wandered around the room once again as she leaned against the back of the wooden chair, her forearm resting on the top of the back of the chair. Her fingers loosely grasped the wine glass in front of her, slowly twirling the dark red liquid inside of it. Picking up the glass she pressed it to her red lips and drained the rest of the glass, as she set the glass back down she glanced towards the strange color haired man. She noticed him nodding towards her, probably in thanks for the strange drug he had just tried. She waved her hand gesturally towards him, a smile on the corner of her lips as she continued to sit alone. She would sit alone for a little longer.
However, she would watch as semi-commotion would soon arise around the red and white haired man. Somewhere from behind where she was sitting, a strange being a cyborg appeared next to the duo's table. From what she knew, he was introducing himself. As soon as the cyborg had appeared it disappeared. Mizuru looked around and soon spotted the cyborg, he was but only a table away from where she was sitting. Mizu hadn't really been interested in the red, white haired man but now she was getting even more interested by the moment. Why would two people have already gone up to the man and introduced themselves? Somehow this man was important. Important men were interesting; especially pirates.
Currently, Mizu wasn't part of a crew or anything. She kind of preferred to work alone... but she didn't know a lot of people and most were already apart of a crew. She hadn't utilized her skills as a doctor and having knowledge about plants, in awhile. In fact she hadn't been paid or hired in awhile. Maybe.. he was part of a crew. Did he need a doctor? Mizu didn't particularily fit the role of a pirate. She seemed much to lady like to be one. Which might also be a good aspect if in a crew. She placed some money on the table, a little more than she need to pay. Some was tip for the waiter. She stood up and began to walk towards their table, however it seemed as if she was heading towards the exit. As she got closer to their table she stopped. She'd seen Mr. Black play at the Black Sabbath a few times so she knew his name. She'd look towards Mr. Black and then to the mysterious man.
"Good afternoon gentlemen." she addressed both of them then looked towards Morgan. "Wonderful playing as always, Mr. Black." she then looked towards the man whose table Morgan had joined, "I see you are enjoying the Sabbath's main attraction. I don't much prefer it myself however, too much knowledge about it which is a bit of a turn off for me," she then smiled towards him, not much caring about the fact that she didn't enjoy the pleasure of Hookah.
She then leaned closer towards Xeres, "..I noticed you've gained a lot of attention since you entered. You're not some sort of celebrity or something are you?" she asked him, whispering to him. She then smiled again, a little more slyly. "Mm, where's my manners... I am Mizuru Nakamura, some prefer to call me Dr. Nakamura," she stepped back a few steps, but it was apparent she wasn't leaving soon.
