Crimson licked peach flesh, as the figure of a man consumed by cloth passed through the crowds of the Saboady Archipelago. With a heavy marine fixture found on the makeshift isle the Captain could not risk being spotted. Caressing the shadows of the mangrove tree's to keep himself from attracting attention. Jasper's orange shades enhancing his sight from the darkness. The world he saw now was nothing like the one he dreamed of creating. It made him ill to see the world in this condition, with people consumed by their vices. However not all were pulled into the depths of their greed, few souls walking before him displayed their virtues. These people were capable of changing the world, little did they know. However was the young captain much different then those lost in their vices, as he stood in the shadows with his own goals. His hands brushing through his hair, pushing down his hood to reveal his handsome face. Removing the sunglasses along with the hood, so he could see the world with his eyes. No longer clouded by ambitions, as he stepped loose of the shadows.
The Captain of Blaze Blue stepping into the light of the world, as the azure sky sparkled brightly above him. The warmth of the sun brushing his starved cheeks. A smile slowly grew across his face, this was the world he wanted to build, the light lit up the young man. His scarlet coat glimmering with heat and energy. Jasper knew now what he had to do to obtain his dream. He had to solve the war between marines, and pirates, between human and fishman, between friends and rivals. The Pirate King would bring an era of peace. His crimson eyes burning this this new ambition, his heart true. However his display within the light had attracted the attention of the marines as a s quad had now surrounded the man. Rifles aimed directly for him, as the leader of the small force stepped forth. People being pushed back behind the devoted marines. The Ensign declaring Jasper an enemy of the state. The young captain simply smiled, as if he had no other care in the world. As the marines armed their weapons, prepared to shoot.
Jasper mouthed to them, shoot me if you dare. The marines needed no more encouragement as they fired their weapons in an instant. The sound of their muskets and flint rifles echoing through the mangrove tree's. Smoke from their weapons covering their vision for a few brief moments before clearing. The sight before then no longer was a simple male, instead the marines stood before a man bathed in flames, as azure as the sky. His body knelt down as he stood up slowly. bullets dropping from the flames, burnt and hollow as they hit the ground. Spreading his arms apart, a gust began to build from his position, as wings sprouted from his figure. Within his hands a child that had fallen through the arms of his parents into the circle of marines. Without Jasper's intervention the child would have likely been caught in the cross fire. Releasing the child, the frightening boy ran back to his parents arms. The captain turning his head to the marines. His mouth opening once more, "stand down.
" his voice stated, a sense of fear brought to the marines as they took a step back. They were clearly out-ranked, with his dismissal the marines retreated. Finally he could release the Zoan ability, as the azure flames began to subside, slowly fading as a final flame licked the top of his hand before he was back to normal. The crowd surrounding him in cheer, the parents of the frighten child at the front of the crowd. The mother in tears, and the father filled with gratitude. It was obvious these people suffered from marine oppression, and wanted to be set free of all these bias laws. However within the crowd, the young man spotted something. An orange scarf, the same hue of his sunglasses. Without much thought the young man reached out, suddenly piercing through the crowd before lightly grabbing onto the scarf. Not enough to choke the user, but enough to gather their attention. As memory's of a similar scarf consumed the man. His composure no longer filled with glory, but mixed with emotions from the past and lingering feelings to this day as he looked at the female wearing the scarf. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

The traveller in time who has come
Are you the one? So many people. The young girl wearing a scarf walked side by side by people as they tried to get from place to place in the Saboady Archipelago. She didn't particularly like crowds, but they didn't bother her that much either. However, she occasionally got a case of claustrophobia. She hadn't been in the crowd long so that was a good thing, for the mean time. Appearing taller than most of the people around her, scarlet eyes were able to peek over their heads to survey the area around her.
This small archipelago wasn't made for lots of people. Especially if they all tried to get out of the way as gunshots rung out. The girl with scarlet eyes was almost unable to get out of the way of the people trying to scurry away. She quickly jumped to the side of the platform, briefly being able to see who was firing and what at. It seemed to be Marines with a target in mind; a blue haired man. Pirate even. It didn't matter to her who it was though. People were people, but the marines shouldn't be shooting in such close quarters with civilians.
And it seemed that as some of the crowd started to watch what was happening, that indeed a civilian had been caught in the crossfire. A frown appeared on the girl's face, in protest to what had just happened. It was despicable. The war against pirates and marines; she had heard about it but didn't particularly care. It was of no real concern to her, nor did it actually concern her. Maybe someday, but for now it didn't. She had watched for a bit, glad that the child was safe and was returned to his parents who were grateful.
Slinking back into the crowd, she turned around to go about her business. Which actually wasn't much. She herself had been close to the parents, and a small hint of a smile lit her pink lips. A life was saved today. Head low she began to walk away, but something stopped her. A small tug at her scarf, as if someone was trying to get her attention. Turning her head, her red eyes looked for the source of who was trying to get her attention. Her eyes met the blue-haired man's face, and she began to wonder if it had been indeed been him who had tried to get her attention.
"Quite a show," she said blandly to him. It was but almost a whisper, not really hear-able to anyone else around. To her he almost appeared to be a show-off, but deep down she was glad he had saved the child. She was curious however why he had tried to get her attention, if at all. Or if her scarf had snagged on something or another. Her face was pretty emotionless, almost blank. Tilting her head to the side some she looked at him curious, almost as if asking why he had tried to get her attention. She did not know him.
If he did not answer soon, she would turn back around and walk away.

Though the women turned around, as his fingers let loose the orange threads. The young girl looking at him blankly, curious to why the man had grasped onto her attire. Responding to his earlier actions with the marine and child. However his mind simply could not focus on what the female had said. As memories quickly consumed him, imagery of his sister quickly blinding him, as her vivid attire quickly mimicked the female. Though his mind wouldn't let the pleasant memory last, as quickly the image was elapsed with blood. As the reality of the moment quickly, as the girl was soon to reject his reasoning and continue on with her day. Without any thought he spoke, "The performance wasn't perfect.
" Jasper revealed, though it was clear as an injury from the display began painting his face with blood. Jasper focused the majority of his energy on the child, leaving himself vulnerable to the hollow shot rounds the marines used against him. They weren't sea-stone, however they left a mark on the man. Despite his minor injury, the captain had a undying grin on his face, this girl seemed to be interested in his reason for stopping her. " your scarf, those myriad of colors, that orange stream." he choked on his words, his heartstrings clearly being drawn back by the sight of the orange fabric, laced with ebony. " I thought I saw a ghost from the past." Azure completed, as his digits snatched the crimson fabric of his cloak and tore away, removing a fashionable piece from it. Using the material as a makeshift band, tying it around his forehead to heal the wound. The Zoan within him accelerated his natural healing, he wasn't afraid of it leaving a mark, however he was still mortal to bleeding out. No longer able to see from his right eyes, as blood smeared from his forehead. " I mean, would you care to listen to my story." Jasper said back, his voice not much higher then her's. Though there wasn't much reason for the female to stay and listen, as the Captain was nothing more then a anonymous soul passing by. Despite the streets being sun-lit the sky's began to weep, perhaps for the story soon to be told, or simply as the weather on the Grand Line was chaotic as rain quickly swept through the archipelago. Quickly the streets were left with no one, the people hiding under the protection of the tree's and buildings. Stores quickly earning their business from the change of scenery. Leaving the two standing in the rain, the young hero and the girl. The clear liquid cleansing his facial features of the dried blood, cleaning the pirate of his sin. However he wanted to tell the girl more of why he took her aside. " it's almost like the world is replaying that day." he spoke softly closing his eyes. Opening them once more with a firm disposition, as he made one last offer. " you'll get sick standing out here, let's talk somewhere safe" Jasper stated lastly before offering out a hand. The marines most likely would alert higher ups of his arrival, and standing in the open was not the best choice for him. The nearest building was a dessert parlor, the captain was starving and ice cream would hit the spot, or at-least standing under the ledge would help. Offering a hand out to the girl, would she take this leap of faith. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

[bg=D7CFCB]"My dear, with the invisible threads of fate, trust me, we are connected by them,"
The woman who often times went by the name of Luna, made a step towards walking in the opposite direction of the man who had called her attention to him. It seemed to her that she had no real business with this man, and if they stayed near each other the marines might think of her as an ally of this here pirate. Though it was actually a thrilling thought. She had never really thought of being a pirate; she was more along the lines of a thief. But, she stopped mid-step, her eyes had never strayed from the man's face. Upon closer look she could see that he had not come unscathed from the er, fight. And it seemed even more vivid with the man's words, adding testimony to that fact that De Luna was wrong. She did not really care, it had been a show never the less.
She found mystery in the man's grin that was planted upon his now crimson stained face. And as well his words brought even more mystery to the man. A ghost? she questioned to herself. It seemed perhaps that she looked like someone he knew. She watched as he made a makeshift bandage, tying it around his forehead to stop the bleeding. The young civilian was even more intrigued by the blue haired man's words. Care to listen to my story.. She wasn't much of one for stories, or fairytales. Instead she chose to live in the movement, in the day instead of fantasizing about fairytales and stories that would never happen. She stood before the man, contemplating. Tilting her head to the side, she looked at the man.
About to give her answer she was granted with the chance of rain. Her thoughts were momentarily led astray as her chin lifted up to greet the rain. The rain drops falling upon her porcelain skin. Scarlet eyes closing softly to take in the rain. She was brought back to reality by the man's words gracing her ears again. Looking down she looked at him again, her eyes a brighter shade of red, almost like the color of his cloak. As he extended his hand she glanced at it, and then her eyes looked back up at his face. She was silent for a moment, she had been for awhile. She almost seemed to hesitate; however she wasn't much of one to think things over or to not go with someone because she didn't know them. She didn't give her trust away easily, but you could go with someone without trusting them. However, she found that even so there was something trusting about this guy.
A small curl of the lips, almost into a smile she looked into the man's eyes as her hand moved from her side to grasp onto his hand that he had offered out. As she did she spoke with ease, "I'll take a listen to that story of yours," And with that she would go with the man.

The rain washed him of any impurities, no longer bound by sin. However his burnt orbs met with his, Luna was quite the ambient girl. The spirit and hue of her own eyes lit up her entire expression. With a leap faith Luna latched onto his arm, her hand falling into his desperate grasp. His digits quietly locking with her own. A small solace found within the girl as he held onto her, guiding the two to the small building before them. Removing his scarlet cloak and wrapping it around the shoulders of the young lass. " To take a leap of faith, yes. Come back. so we can be young kids together again. Come back with me.
" Jasper whispered to himself, only loud enough for himself as he took the girl into the shop. The lights bringing life to the world they lived in, as they found a booth to sit in. Right before the entrance of the store, so they both could listen to the rain. Upon taking his seat, he was greeted with more then Luna, the child he had saved quickly leap from the side onto his lap. A glomp with his soaked his clothes, his parents close behind, standing at the edge of the table. A simple smile overcoming his lips, as a hand found itself on-top the child's head. A gentle stroke through his hair, as the child held on tight. The boy happily declaring that he would be just like him. " Haha, I'm not exactly a model hero, but you will grow up to be a stronger hero someday." Jasper said before the child's parents beckoned him away. Though they weren't alone for long, the host arriving at their table asking for what they would like. " two strawberry milkshakes please." Jasper ordered, as the male quickly disappeared. Jasper's frigid hands resting upon the table. Now he had time to tell his story of the past to Luna. " the story is simple, I lost my sister." he said lifting his head to the scarlet eyes of Luna. " ten years ago, the marines came to my home town in the north. my parents expected the worst from them, that we'd loose all power and our king to the new marine law." Taking a breathe from his memory's, they appeared within his heart, and played before his eyes like a record. " though the worst we imagined, was nothing to the nightmare that would consume the north. as the North quickly lost his royal strength within the world, everything was going as the marines planned, until a child was shot, an innocent child shot created a civil war." his story had taken enough time that the host brought back their small order. Smooth clear glass standing before both of them, the vanilla ice-cream mixed in perfect order of fresh cut strawberries. The scent of the order simply intoxicating, as the young man smiled softly. " the child, was my sister, I watched as she was shot by the timid marines, I watched her fall into the icy ocean." Jasper said smoothly, taking a spoon and mixing the drink. " I couldn't save her, no matter how fast I ran, how hard I swam, how much I sacrificed." his crimson eyes focusing on his tattoo, " but her favorite thing in the world was her scarf our parents bought her, that silly orange scarf. when I saw you, I saw my sister for a moment, I was happy." he finished, he was done boring the girl with his past. " jasper azure hale." he stated, a smile once more on his face as his eyes fell upon her scarf. " thank you for reminding me of such a beautiful memory." ending with a spoon in his mouth, delighted with strawberry. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

[bg=D7CFCB]"Noticing the loosened thread, I should've kept tight forever. That which overflowed and spilled out, seems the same color as you that day."
Scarlet eyes looked up at the man with awe as he wrapped his cloak around the young female. Protecting her briefly from the rain. She was not accustomed to others being polite like that to her; but she supposed he had a reason. Nor did she mind it. A strange feeling went through her body, a feeling of warmth of comfort. Walking besides him as he led her towards the parlor, into shelter from the rain. She went in quietly with the man, her hand gently resting in his hand as they walked to the shop. Finding a booth near the front of the shop, she sat across from the man who was willing to tell her his story. She didn't listen often to others; more so to her elders than anything.
The atmosphere of the parlor wasn't not too noisy, though it had gathered a few more customers due to the rain. A few moments later they were greeted by a semi-familiar face; the boy the storyteller had saved. For the first time since she had met the man, a smile seemed to light her face and brought a softness to her character. Where as it had almost seemed cold before. Children always brought such happiness and joy into the world where it was not. And the young female found peace in the child's declaration that he wanted to be just like the man. They had a naiveness that adults had forsaken long ago and could never regain. They were sinned by the world around them and the sins they have done unto the world. She smiled at the child and watched as his parents beckoned him away.
Greeted by the host, Luna was about to order what she wanted but the man had decided in ordering for her of which she didn't really mind. She would have been satisfied with ordering anything here, though she did not like anything too sweet. But strawberry was good. Luna's eyes rested on the man's hand as they rested on the table but as he began to speak she lifted her gaze to look into his crimson eyes hidden beneath the make-shift bandage he had wrapped around his forehead earlier. The woman before him began to listen to the man's story, of how he lost his sister. Sitting there quietly she listened to the man's words, her hands resting in her lap, almost lady like.
She nodded to the host as he returned with their order, she stared at the cup before her almost as if she were hesitating on eating it. But, it seemed she would not eat until the man was finished with his story. She looked up from the clear class sitting in front of her to the man's face as he continued his story. She felt a bit of regret when he mentioned the scarf, but was almost reassured when he mentioned that he felt happy for a moment. That he had seen his sister within her. She looked at the scarf hanging around her neck, half in front of her. It was only a scarf but seemed to have so many memories attached to it, that weren't even mostly hers. It wasn't even the same scarf, but a look a like. Looking down for a moment, as if saddened by the man's story.
A beautiful memory.. It was a tragedy. But, this man seemed to have a positive out look on what had happened to him, and his sister. "I'm awed that such a thing could hold such memories," she began, her eyes flickering up to look up at him again. "It's just an old, raggedy thing..." she added disheartedly.
"I'm curious, not to sound blunt or anything, but what was your sister like?"she inquired to Jasper. She didn't want to be too blunt, but she felt the urge to know what his sister was like. But, he didn't have to answer or anything, telling her his story might've taken its toll and her question might be too personal. "How I came across this scarf, is it was from my grandfather. He gave it to me a bit before his passed away, just a casual gift but I believe he somehow knew of his passing," she explained, nodding to herself. Trying to recall that day, the details of it but she could not. She did not seem at all saddened by it however, her face seemed almost static.
]"Right..my name is Nathalia De Luna," she added, almost forgetting to introduce herself. "I am..nothing more than a civilian who is well-aware of her surroundings," she said, looking down at her ice-cream. She hadn't touched it since they had gotten them and she picked up the spoon from the napkin that was on the top and took a small bite of the fruit flavored treat. She seemed to be thinking as she placed the spoon into her mouth.

Nathalia listened to Jasper, without missing a single heart-beat. The memories developing them both, as he made it clear for her to understand, as if she was looking through his own eyes. Though she still seemed a bit overwhelmed when he finished what he had to tell her, looking down to her scarf as if its value was not as important as the one within his story. With a simple smile he interrupted her for a second, "It's not a old, raggedy scarf, its a defining part of yourself, it reflect your beauty I think, it really brings out your eye." he added softly as she had a question for the young prince. A smile was brought to his face, she wanted to know more about her. Taking a small spoon of his own milkshake before opening the seal on his heart.
"A sunflower, a beautiful flower on an icy dessert. She never let anyone bring her spirits down, and could never be contained.
" Julius recalled, his memories painting the scene for Luna. " She had long auburn hair, soft creme smile, and something found in you." he mentioned, taking the back end of his spoon and reflecting the image of the girl back to herself. " Gorgeous ruby eyes." Jasper said, not letting any embarrassment between the two to stop him. " She wasn't like me, she was free. the reason, im painted with these tattoo's, is to show that im a prisoner to superstition and fear." Jasper explained, he felt bad for the few words Luna managed to sneak in and tell him, he wanted to hear her after all. " Marked to be sealed off inside, to never see the light of day, but I truly didn't need the world with my sister, the only family that wasn't consumed by greed." he reminisced, " I tried escaping that day, her promise of hiding somewhere else new far away too alluring to deny. she gave me her scarf that day to keep me warm, with nothing more then pants I would have froze. We ran, we kept running, the screaming of our parents, of the marines. Of that single shot, it was if time stood still before me. Watching as her body simply went limp and fell off into the sea. Falling right after her, plunging beneath the frozen water, pulling her back up." Julius stopped for a moment, " Instead of saving her breathe, she reached out for the scarf and asked me to tear a piece off for her." Julius told Luna, simply speaking how the memory was seen. " I watched her last breath, the white cloud slowly escaping from the corner of her lips." barely containing himself at this point, the captain having lost his better portion of himself to the story. His dignity holding back any faint breaths or tears, " she died because of my selfish desires, I doubt I'll ever forgive myself for what happened. But I learned alot that day about the world I had been taken away from. I suppose that's where my ambition to become a pirate and change the world came from. the captain within him returning, his pride and familiar grin appearing. " I will never let anyone important to me, to someone, to everyone ever be hurt again. I will put an end to the fight between the pirates and the marines."" a final breath escaping him as he regained his composure. With a break within the drama, he heard how she came into possession of the scarf, the tragic death of her grandfather, she didn't seemed bothered but he closed his eyes in solace, and wished the best for her and the man. " I have something I want to give you Luna." Julius smiled gently, moving his hands down to his belt. With the cloak above and the charcoal residue from before it had been barely visible, however with a small brush of the gentle man's hand an orange hue came forth. Of course Jasper had never forgotten, holding onto it sense that day as he removed the small strand he had left. It was near identical to the one that Luna wore around her neck, the only difference was the aging of the cloth in the ocean and arctic sea. " you reminded me what I live for." Jasper said softly, extending his hand out beyond her, two digits lifting a small strand of hair before her, gently tying a small portion of what he had left of his memories. A simple laugh as he pulled his hand away, a sweet bow left in her hair. " Now I have another reason." he said, still holding a piece of the old scarf within his hand. The fresh air from the rain blowing the fabric softly, giving life to it for a few moments. The simple pleasures that made Jasper so happy, the Captain hadn't been this emotional to anyone, even within the ranks of his crew. " Now your no longer a civilian, now your a Blazeblue crew member." he laughed, not too serious about what he said. " Though really, now your something I will protect." he said happily looking off into the rain for a moment. " Along with everyone I will protect, Robyn, Alphonse, Rhode, Eli, and Hei-Bai, everyone." [/blockquote][/blockquote]

[bg=D7CFCB]"I'll entrust tomorrow Living a meaningless life like this, it's best to just keep running"
Blue haired Jasper, who reminded Nathalia of a blue bird, continued to speak of his past. Of his sister and that fateful day that seemed to change everything for the man. Her attitude and expression remained pretty stoic throughout the man's explanation of his sister and of that day. Sitting composed besides the man, her head remained somewhat turned to him but her scarlet eyes seemed to examine his face and expression.
However, as he explained that his sister had 'gorgeous ruby eyes' and reflected her image in his spoon the brunette couldn't help but feel a bit bashful. She lowered her eyes some, but over all didn't seem that affected by his comment. She hardly showed emotions, however she was not emotionless. She just wanted to take words as they came and not really think much of them; you could say she had become this way because of her grandfather, however not because of his passing but because of what he had taught her. Which was one reason she didn't dwell much on his death, nor remembered much of it.
As Jasper spoke about his tattoos, she looked to the markings on his chest and shoulders. They were interesting, she had seen them somewhat earlier but had never really thought much of them. She now knew the reason behind them. And explained the day in further detail. Luna simply listened, she was pretty open to about anything and was quite a good listener. She could sit for awhile just listening to someone; which she often did with her grandfather since he had been the 'parent' figure for her.
"..I'm sorry about your sister, she seemed like a wonderful sister,"
Her words were sympathetic, but her expression remained almost untouched since Jasper had begun his story. However, she truly did feel sorry for him, but it was good that it had made him ambitious. That he had turned the event around and found a purpose. Nathalia did not have a particular purpose, she just seemed to live the day as it was. To take things as they came. And to enjoy them. But, she had no real ambitions. No real dreams. However, as the man finished she felt she did, somewhere within her he had awakened them.
Her eyes watched as he drew a cloth from his persons and then began to tie a piece of it to a strand of her hair. She was a bit confused by this action, she stared at the piece of cloth that was now a bow in her hair. Her eyes then looked at Jasper in bewilderment. Luna had no clue that going with this man would end up like this, that even though they hadn't known each other minutes before that they were now closer. Though she had had friends, she had never really been close with them. She almost chose to isolate herself, though it was not because she didn't trust them or anything. She just didn't really feel the need for friends, with not really having anyone who was close to her.
She was bewildered that this man would want to protect her. Her expression showed it. She wasn't sure how to react to the man's words. "I..I don't know what to say," she confessed, looking down. This was a bit much for her. "I don't..think I'm worth protecting. That I'm that special, just because of this scarf," she said, looking at the glass of her cup.
"But, I've never had something to live for. So I don't understand the feeling, of why you would choose me," she added, trying to understand what she felt. Trying to understand the man's reasoning behind what he said and did. She looked up at him finally, her eyes glittering some. She was still a bit confused but was trying to understand. "I suppose, you could say I seclude myself from others not because I am afraid but because I've never felt the need to. I didn't need satisfaction from being around others. I suppose, it was because of the training my grandfather had me do. Endless days by myself. Mediation as I listened to the life around me. I found joy and peace and friendship through the life around me. The sky, the wind, the plants.."
She stopped for a moment, as if in thought. "I've never had a reason to live. No real ambitions, but I think I can find that with you. In this crew you talk about, if you would let me." she added, not really knowing that he had indeed already accepted her into the crew. However, she seemed sincere in her asking him if he would accept her into his crew. |
"To the colorless glittering sky, I'll entrust my body The only things I can believe in from now on are the things I can feel with my own fingertips."

Being so close, yet so far away from the great HQ of the noble world government, the unstoppable force of justice had tamed uncountable islands around the world. Yoshio was stationed on the archipelago of Sabaody, an archipelago which – If you count the lawless areas out, was quite peaceful. Yoshio had spent a few days just sitting under the sound, watching the bubbles floating all around this remarkable atmosphere. Armed with a sandwich and a glass of pineapple juice, he was ready for a fierce battle with his upcoming thirst and hunger, it was in the middle of the day, and the marine division inferior to his rank were all out scouting the areas of the mangrove. Suddenly a bunch of marines burst into his presence, presenting the marine captain with the information that a “Devil” had appeared on the island, with azure flames the devil had been caught in a crossfire without being damaged, and apparently his presence sparked some kind of riot in the people. The licensed Captain gulped the pineapple beverage down, and crunched a bite of the sandwich with his teeth, and he was good to go.
The marines lead him through the soapy streets of the island, in a few minutes a large group of warriors of justice had grouped around Yoshio, they walked until they reached the area where contact with the criminal had been made. Yoshio was hesitant about the whole thing, there wasn’t even any sign of burning, maybe someone had slipped something in the marine’s drink last night, and the effect were only showing now. Though as the good commander he is, Captain Yoshio of division one encourages the marines to search for the evildoer with him, they walked for a while without spotting anything. Until…
One of the marines pointed at a man a few dozen feet away, and everyone in the group seemed to agree. Once again the captain was a bit unconvinced the only azure part on this persons body was his hair, and Yoshio doubted that he had lit his head on fire. Besides, the young man seemed to hug a girl so close to him, it appeared more like a date. But the Marines were insisting, so actions must be made, just in case the boy was actually a devil with flames bursting out of his body, he dispatched the marines to surround the fellow around the area, being able to attack from a complete angle of 360 degrees.
The fighter of justice took a step forward, and just as that happened, azure wings sprung out of the man’s body, he was afloat before Yoshio could react, and even as he came dashing forward him, the flying man was just ascending further up. Yoshio performed a jump of faith, leaping towards the devil, but to no avail, his hand could not grasp the racketeering pair, he plunged to the ground. Though not before being able to give the command of fire, a torrent of bullet from all directions played out above Yoshio while he was hastily descending, there was nothing he could do now, but give orders. The marine crashed to the ground, feeling a sharp jab of pain pierce through his back. He kept lying there, repeating the same command over and over again.
Do not seize fire!

Luna was not used to such attention, her cheeks lit up with a crimson light, struggling to find words to the feelings in her heart. Speechless almost before him, as she looked down, almost as if she felt undeserving of his concern and attention. Questioning Jasper about why she was so special, simply because of a scarf in her own mind. The young captain shook his head softly, this child was new to the world. "your not special because of the scarf.
" he exclaimed softly, " your special, because your Nathalia Antoniette De Luna." he said, he meant to keep the message cryptic for the young girl, perhaps she would discover the meaning in time. The young captain memory may have sparked because of the scarf, however it was the way she was that made him want to protect her, their was no one that could replace such an amazing life. The girl speaking softly from her heart, telling the truth of her own exsistance. Never having found a reason to live, not quiet able to place an emotion on it, confused as why he would choose her. Though he knew she would come to understand his madness someday soon, as she looked to him with those sparkling scarlet eyes, how any man could withstand the innocent stare. Luna explained how she came from such isolation, the training she endured at her grandfather's expectations. Explaining how she enjoyed nature around her, " Their was truth within your training, to build up yourself, and become stronger with your own identity, however their is also a flaw in your grandfather's training." he pointed out, a simple dull stare with his silly smile, " however, you become stronger when you have people to support you from beneath, people to pick you up when you break down, people to protect and bring you beyond your limitations." he explained gently to Luna, as he became a stronger man the day his sister died, despite the tragedy, he knew what he had to do from that day on. Though Luna was beginning to learn, as her next words took courage. The truth coming from her own lips, as she looked to him. Asking him to accept her, and allow her to join his crew. The young captain laughed lightly, and pointed to the scarlet cloth wrapped around her shoulders. " you were always apart of the crew." he stated softly. Luna had been so sincere and honest in her proposal. The young man stood up, both hands planted on the table as the owner passed by, the meal free on the account of saving the child. " I believe it's time we say hello to our crew mates." he said moving over to her seat, taking both her hands in his before putting them around his neck, locking them together as he pulled her up onto his back. The tall captain easily carrying the girl on his back, as his scarlet cape caught the wind from the weather outside. Taking a deep breathe the man swiftly left the store, the Captain spotted a complete faction of marines standing near the corner, they had called backup. Carrying the girl close to him, he had to protect her.. The bitter rain drowning the streets in a small torrent of water. " It's time to take a leap of faith Luna, don't let go, I promise I will not let you get hurt." Jasper whispered loud enough for Luna to hear over the sound of the rain. The body of the young male quickly lighting up with the azure flames he used to protect the boy, his shoulders shifting underneath the female as a pair of wings spread out from beside the girl. Ivory painted spirals forming along the wings, as if clouds lifted the phoenix within the captain. The sound of gunshots echoed behind them both, the sound of the shells hitting the waves of flames created by Jasper, a few directly at the girl, protected by a layer of feathery flames. " Time to spread my wings, and fly." the nervous boy stated, this would be the first attempt with a second person. His entire body now covered with the feathers made of flame. It was as if Luna was being carried on a sea of clouds, as the young's man shape beneath him lost shape, his face the only part not consumed in the harmless fire. However, a loud shot came from behind them, a sniper aiming directly for them had shot. Within an instant, his shot struck the young captain, the flames had dulled the blow, but the accurate shot to his foot began to send him to the ground. " like hell I am going to let you stop me, DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!" he growled as they were about to collide with the street, though his wings spread completely, carrying the two, inches from the road. The flames painting a trail of endless azure behind him as soared down the street. Shots echoed as none of them could keep up with the young captain. Most of the marines out of range now, the male only had to concern himself with the snipers until he reached the mangrove tree's. Though the shots pierced him earlier worried the male, he would not let the girl be harmed, letting the sea of flames around him concentrate on her figure against him, his speed decreasing to add to her protection. " They called Captain Nasin on me, they weren't kidding, they meant to kill me back ther-." the male stopped in mid sentence, as a loud boom of thunder interrupted, his wing suddenly beginning to tear as a shot was hidden during the crack of the storm, the route to escape was within sight, the tree's only a few hundred feet away. This time, their was no way to avoid the crash. The bright and pure azure flames quickly beginning to fade from the critical strike, " just a lil bit further zoan, if not me, carry her." Jasper winced, as they came closer to hitting the asphalt A glint came from the mangrove's edge, they had come. A smile that could only be worn by a fool, his chance at redemption over the last ten years. " thank you luna, you have taught me never to give up, to love again, I promise we will meet again. They will protect you." Jasper smirked, as they collided with the cold stone road. The young boy letting her grasp around his neck go. The flames billowing around the female as he released it all on her, the cocoon of his azure kept spinning across the ground away from the cold street. " RUN NOW, GET OUT OF HERE, I DON'T WANT YOU ANYMORE." Jasper shouted to his crew-mates in the forest. The captain laying motionless in the street, he had used up to much energy in his earlier display, barely having enough to use the regenerative abilities of his zoan to keep his wounds from bleeding out. It would be a matter of seconds before the marines that had been following them would be on his position, they would not kill him, no they would make an example out of him. It was time the man paid for his sin's. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Alphonse bit his lip, he had spent enough time with Rhode, and the Captain was late from his quick resupply run on the Archipelago. Alphonse almost looked like the Captain's younger brother, with the same scarlet stare, the deep sea blue strands of hair, and stupor smile. Though they had completely different personalities, as the Captain was a bit more honest and bold, Alphonse was calm & collected. As a marksmen should be, he had to control himself so he could make the shot. "Rhode, he's been gone to long, I can't stand here any longer, let's go, he need's our help." Alphonse demanded, standing up from the cold table within Rhode's office. However he was quickly held back down, Rhode's wasn't about to let her patient leave half fixed. Remembering that he had come down here to have stitches on his wound from the battle at the Fishman Village.
Each minute that passed, felt like a year to the boy. "Cant you go any faster Rhod---." the boy whined as the sound of a high caliber rifle shot in the background. The marksmen knew the sound anywhere, it was a standard marine division sniper rifle, the sound of the caliber shot from the rifle was unmistakable, the loud shot was like a canon. Where they firing bullets made of sea-stone? The young prince slid across the floor of the ship, his arm half stitched by Rhode. Typically the young doctor would be shouting at him, however she could feel the Captain was in danger as well. Both of them running to the top floor of the ship, nestled within the mangroves tree's hidden from the marines.
Both of them took seconds to prepare, a rifle on his back, ready to fire as he leap off the ship, Rhode quickly beside him with her purse of doctor supplies. However their choice location to hide the ship would be their downfall, the mangrove woods made it nearly impossible to move fast. The two jumping from one set of roots to another as quick at they could. Alphonse taking a scope from his side, and lifting it up, trying to peer beyond the shifting tree's. A sudden jolt of excitement, the Captain was coming directly for them. "Rhode, I see him, he's coming right for us." the Marksmen yelped happily, as they soared between the mangrove. Swinging from branch to branch, as a loud crack echoed through the entire island, a bolt of lightning shooting down onto the isle.
The young marksmen almost falling face forward into the sea, as another whiplash of emotion collided with him. Something had happened, taking the scope back up to peer over the horizon, the Captain was loosing speed, he was arching oddly towards the ground. A frightened face quickly running over him, as he almost lost control of his voice. "Rhode, he's been hurt, hurry!
" he cried out, as they reached the edge of the forest, the glint of scope glowing brighter then before, as they found a body covered in the captain's azure flames. The marksmen lost in thought until he heard his Captain shout, an order was order. He watched as he had to leave his Captain dying, and take the girl. Taking Rhode's hand and both of them picking the girl up, and moving away from the forests edge. Alphonse struggled, he wanted to be beside his captain, he wasn't about to let him die alone. Though he knew Rhode couldn't carry this girl alone, looking to his female partner to see tears streaming down her face. " Rhode..." he whispered to her as her's eyes remained consumed with tears. Alphonse held back his tears, he would save the captain, he wouldn't let him die this way. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Rhode sighed, Alphonse was moving too much, and the sea's weren't getting any easier on her. The doctor, using quick strokes of her hand to stitch the young man's wound. The marksmen had caught been slashed by the mean bandits of the Fishman Village. Though she had already scolded him about being careful, the best she could do is fix him back to normal. The young boy, rocking back and forth, not wanting to be here, he wanted to be beside Captain Jasper, she knew how he felt, as did she, she loved the man, rescuing her from the royal traditions of her home country, a knight in shiny Armour for the young girl, devoting herself to protect him and his friends. "calm down Alphonse, he will be alright, he hasn't let us down before.
" she said softly, as she brushed a towelet across his wound to prevent more bleeding. However when shots echoed into the background, Alphonse shot up, almost forking himself with a knife and more stitches. The young girl about to scream the boy into next week. However the look on his face and words that followed, made her put down what she was holding. Alphonse would never, ever lie about the safety of the Captain. If it dealt with guns, he also wouldn't neglect to tell her. " I know, hurry." Rhode said, grasping onto her combat purse. Equipped with emergency supplies and tools to protect herself from harms way. As she quickly followed Alphonse upstairs and off the ship, jumping down onto the soft earth beneath their feet. " We dont got much time do we?" she grimaced at the ground, it wouldn't be long before another shot would be fired. The young female following Alphonse, following his footsteps exactly as they navigated through the mangrove. The girl loosing her foot often, barely recovering her posture as she followed him. " slow down Alphonse." she begged, barely able to keep up as the male pulled a scope from his belt. Soothing words coming from him as he said he could see the Captain. " he's alright, he's alright, he's alright." she could almost cry in joy as she sprinted forward with Alphonse. Not wasting a breathe on getting closer to the man, as a defaning blow of thunder almost knocked her back. The sound was horrendous, scarring the daylights out of her. Such a furious sound, however Alphonse had stopped too. " It's just thunder hun." she told him, however she noticed he wasn't afraid of the large shock, she felt it too, something was wrong. The young scoping in once again, as his face fell, the happiness dying as they reached the edge of the forest. Alphonse was kneeling before a girl, as Rhode was about to jump from the shadows of the mangrove and help her Captain as the man shouted to them. Telling her to stand down, and help the girl, and to bring her back to the ship. Rhode legs weakened, almost falling on her knee's as she heard the weak voice of their Captain. She couldn't disobey him as she turned her head, tears falling from her cheeks as she knelt down to lift up the girl covered in the captain's flames. Lifting her up with all her might as Alphonse helped her carry the girl, " I know Alphonse, he wont die." she said weakly, as they helped Luna to her feet, slowly backing up wither she could walk or not, slowly loosing sight of their Captain. [bg=D7CFCB]"Shards of broken pieces Shattered on the floor Its not enough to bleed Tears and angry voices Cracks around the door No apologies "
Because she was herself? That did not make much sense to the female sitting besides the blue-haired captain, who had just accepted her as one of his own. Though, perhaps she would understand in time, it seemed the captain had intended for her to discover it, the meaning behind what he said, for he had hardly explained. Nathalia was reletively a smart-women, however there were some things she did not know, simply because she was "naive' in a way.
The captain's words had always been worth listening to, though Luna did not quite understand why she had decided to listen to this man, that he was worth listening to. Perhaps fate that she had accepted him. His words. He explained the truth behind her training, that there was strength behind it as well as some flails. Perhaps, he grandfather had not had time enough to teach her. She would never know. She continued to look down at the reflections and texture of the glass sitting in front of her, which she had hardly touched. She began to try to understand the man's words; but they eluted her and remained as mysterious as the man sitting besides her.
you were always apart of the crew.
Those particular words lingered in the moon's mind. Repeating. She had began to think that maybe she was given this scarf for a reason, that she was so called "destined" to meet this blue bird. Looking up at him again, eyes seeming a bit ethereal as they watched the captain, Jasper Azure Hale, stand up. She looked curiously as he took her soft hands into his own calloused ones, then put them around his neck. A bit bewildered, Luna did not say a word. Luna was not all that great with meeting new people, and as he pulled her onto his back she asked softly, "do you think they'll like me?", resting her head on his shoulder/shoulder blade.
She felt him carry her outside of the parlor, then she looked around as he told her not to let go. She spotted official uniforms of the marines, and it seemed they had reinforcements. It was hard to tell how many there were through the rain, but Nathalia knew they were in trouble if they did not run. Jasper could not stand up against all of them could he? Especially with her around, yet promised her that he would not let any harm come to her. She trusted him, like she had never trusted anyone else before. She felt she was able to. That he would not let her get hurt. But, she felt guilty because he had to get himself away and had to worry about her. She was about to protest, when the same power. The flames he had used earlier surrounded his body, and she could feel it, yet it did not harm her. It was serene almost. She wrapped her arms tighter around his neck. The blue-bird, now more like a phoenix took flight, however they were only inches from the ground.
Luna heard shots. Shot after shot, it was not a new sound but it clashed with the rain as they flew. Surely, the shots would shoot them out of the sky. Especially if they were flying so close to the ground. It seemed Jasper had never carried another person before. Yet, Luna still held onto him. She held tighter onto him at the sound of thunder, that sounded more like a gunshot than anything. And, they seemed to be getting closer to the ground---
They collided with the ground. Luna felt the flames wrap around her, protecting her. She began to think to herself, why me!? WHY ME? Why does he want to protect me? She did not understand why he would protect her instead of himself. She kept going, but not of her own free will. Due to the collision and the man's blue flame. But, she wanted to stay with him. She wanted to protect him, instead of him protecting her. Yet, she did not have the power to. And, she felt weak, even with her training.
She began to shake. To tremble. She was so naive, so innocent. And this was all too much for her, she lay on the ground. Unscathed. But, found she was unable to move. However, she felt someone and looked up to see someone similar to Jasper, but alas it was not. "I-I'm sorry.." she whispered, as two people helped her up. This was her fault. If Jasper didn't have to carry her he could have gotten away.
..Grandfather..what do I do?
She asked to the only ever person she had ever really trusted up until now. Yet, she did not hear the old man's voice...
He was not here. And, for the first time in awhile she felt alone.

Yoshio’s words of justice had pierced the heavens. A bullet lead by his encouragement took its place in the body of the phoenix. A wound - which not even ashes could cure – opened. Yoshio forgot the pain of his downfall and got up, his back aching he pointed towards one of the soldiers, performed a manly version of a pirouette and yelled out a few encouraging words, Something about justice and doing a good job. By that point they had all ceased fire, as they pointed the barrel of their guns towards the fallen bird of fire. The scoundrel was feeling the pain that unmistakably comes with being evil… A smug appeared on the young captain’s face.
Short, alarming footsteps brought the Marine toward his prey, he stopped his feet one inch away from the wounded racketeer by his feet and slowly descending to his knees, in a way that was indescribably condescending. He looked at the gaping wound, looked back at the legion of Marine’s protecting his back. With a satisfied look he stood up, pointed at a random soldier and told him to step forward, he placed his hand on his shoulder and yelled out “He is too lively, it won’t be long before he starts fighting back again.”. Then, with a sadistic smile he ordered his subordinate to put another bullet in him. The roar of a bullet resonated on the archipelago…
The victorious captain turned around. Without him making any gestures, the marines gathered around the wounded, picked him up without even trying to be gentle, and carried him as Yoshio made his way to the Marine Vessel that rested by Area 48. The public stared at him and his army as they crossed the Archipelago bathed in the glorious feeling of victory. Once they got on the Vessel, they would make their way towards Marineford. The guy had a pretty special Devil fruit, so getting a visum for being there wouldn’t be hard. They had to take care of him in the right way, luckily they had a Seastone handcuff back on the Vessel.

Jasper's fang sunk into his lip, was this an ending fit for the future Pirate King. No, it was not fit for a king, let alone Captain of the Blazeblue pirates. The azure feathers blending with his flesh, wanting to build up though his stamina simply wasn't there, his body was letting down his spirit. The dying flame leaving the captain as finally the man who had hunted him arrived. The Captain of the First Division looking down at the young man first. The cruel man, kneeling down only inches from the Pirate Captain, "you think capturing me will stop my crew-mates. YOU THINK YOU CAN STOP THEM, YOU HAVE ALOT TO LEARN CAPTAIN NASIN, WE ARE DAI BLAZE BLU-" his shouts silenced by another rifle shot to the chest. His body quickly loosing the rest of its soul and passion, dropping to the cold ground.
His body hitting the ground quickly, the man couldn't speak anymore, the blessing of the Phoenix leaving him, the curse that had always been there for him was now gone. The invincible Blazeblue Captain was left breathless, bleeding before the marines as the men around him locked him up in makeshift tools. Knowing that if his Devil Fruit powers were to return simple cuffs would be broken in seconds. Though the Captain had used the best of his strength to protect the new women in her life, the flames would heal her too, the feathers marking her forever with his soul. The marines could not keep the man behind bars for long, a sneer appearing beneath the blood. "I will be back, I promise Luna.
" a promise made to himself, before he let himself black out, saving his energy for Marineford. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
